You can tell she's good at her job seeing as there hasn't been one mechanical DNF this season. Came close to it in Barcelona but still brought it home (unlike a certain italian team). Give her a raise or something.
Damn we all wonder what Italian team you talking about lol
@@RaeRae12367 s🅱inalla
@@RaeRae12367 🤣🤣😂 well its not an Alpha.
wasn't Barcelona due to the engine running to hot?
@@RaeRae12367 must be Aprillia
Havnt even watched the video yet but you deserve a Well Done 👏. Not a single DNF due to reliability this season.
It's fair to say, kudos not just to her, but the entire reliability team as well👏
@@ImmanuelRajan63 Absolutely, it’s their hard work and incredible driver line up that’s led to all these points and podiums. Can’t forget the strategy teams too and everyone back at the factory. This is why they’re 8 time champs. Despite having an inferior car they’re only 30 points behind Ferrari.
I smashed a like in the first 5 seconds!!!!!!
Same here! I just saw her position in the title, clicked the like button right off 😊
@@moeez1211 True. Also Ferrari's struggles helped us🤣
Hi Emma!
You've been doing a great job seeing how reliable the W13 is!
Not only W13 all the previous years Mercedes was the best car in the grid in Reliability.
Especially given how the platform and ride has been a complete mess this year - I'd have expected the sheer loads and vibrations would break some internal components or wear them quickly.
yup we only saw that in the Spanish GP a hint of reliability issues and that was (i think) due to unproper cooling (hotter than expected)
But it loves porpoising though 🤣🤣😂
reliable but not fast😢 i hope they get at least 1 win this year
So this is the amazing person who kept the reliability up all year? As a huge fan of the team, I just have to say thank you and well Fricking done. Absolutely brilliant!
Great job Emma. This is the most reliable car on the grid 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
She deserves a podium appearance at our first win.
Her tittle says it all. Senior Reliability Engineer. Thanks to her and the team not a single DNF due to engine failure. Stellar job. She definitely deserve a podium appearance when we get our first win this year.
Please give this young lady a raise coz she understood the assignment!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
And a podium appearance at the first win. its coming i can feeel it.
@rorisang 88 Tell me you are South African without telling me you are South African
@@shabasRS yes! Thanks for recognizing that! 😁😁😁🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Congrats Emma, I think you can be proud of yourself for that half season !!! 🔥
As a Mechanical Engineer Student myself, I enjoy every second of this type of videos. It let me know that I’am in the right path towards a Formula 1 career on the Engineering department. It is an amazing opportunity to hear and learn from professionals in the industry like Emma.
"It" is an amazing opportunity.. sorry for the unsolicited correction but English is critical if you wanna get the job (I'm not a native speaker either:)
@@dhlml Thanks for the correction anyways. I guess I’am better than yesterday but, not better than tomorrow. Every day we learn something new.
I'm or "I am" .. ok that's the last one 🤣
@@dhlml Yeah, sometimes the autocorrect slides de mistakes.
thank you emma for saving a championship hope
Next do a "My Job in F1" of Roscoe
You and everyone else at the factory, the garage, and on track have been doing great!
This lady's hard work will help the team secure that 2nd place in the constructors (hopefully). Well done Emma and team!
This is someone who is doing their job very well. But also props to the whole team! Amazing reliability
Emma is basically setting the standard for all other reliability engineers on the grid.
Happy to see more and more women in F1. Thank you Emma for all the amazing efforts for building an incredibly reliable W13.
Rule 1.
Do what you love.
Never give up.
Thanks for sharing.
This kind of reliability will help you close the gap clawing back in the championship fight. Maybe too late to clinch the title but anything is possible in this sport. Good job and keep pushing.
As regards your wording of "too late to clinch the title" on my calculations if Lewis wins every race or 2nd in three races and wins the rest and Max has no 1's or 2's or 3's then with his (Lewis) talent and going on past car performance last three races, he should lift the World Championship trophy, YES I know its a big ask BUT . . . . .
@@tof3275 :-) quite far fetched but as I said anything is possible and as the math suggest many ifs :-)
@@tof3275 Lewis is not known for outperforming a car. He is known to be carried by the Mercdes rocketships of the past.
@@ferndale6652 lol the 2008 car was no rocketship, hence ferrari taking the constructors... who took the drivers then? ferrari had a rocket in 2017, 2018 and 2019, what happened then? High rake cars getting rekt in 2021, and yet he still fought to the end? GTFOH
@@MicroStaticSA I'm pretty sure that it was Kovalainen lacking speed more than anything
Thank you Emma, you've done your job supremely this year!
Also very interesting and inspiring to hear about the steps you took to get into this role, and the day to day work, ups and downs that it entails. 💛
Emma and everyone at the reliability team must be doing amazing, the car had only had 1 DNF, and that was not even a reliability issue.
Wow. You can tell Emma has passion! Not only by her presentation, but her determination is evident in her career path. It’s women like Emma that prove the future of F1 and Motorsport generally is in diversity.
The reliability this year has been an unbelievable achievement!
These people work just as hard as the driver. They too deserve all the credit and recognition. A huge shoutout to everyone back in the factory for their hard work!
The reliability speaks for itself how well she & her team have done their job...
She's been doing good that's for sure!
Mercedes always Nailed it in Reliability Department....💯👍What a Great Brains Working For Them👏
Our queen. Keep the reliability going!!
The GODESS of reliability!! Mercedes have been so reliable for all of the years in the sport. Excellent work Emma.
Huge work from Emma and the team. No DNFs so far, reliability is gold!
Thanks Emma for a reliable car 😍
JOURNEY TO 1 MILLION!!!!
LET'S GO BABY
0:38 "Just having one failure is not enough" is exactly what Ferarri implements :D
This series is great. Glad to have you on the team, Emma!
The W13 is the most reliable on the grid by a mile🙌
Outstanding, these insight videos are really informative, illustrating what is required to be a multi-championship winning F1 team.
For all these years she is doing a stunning job at Mercedes.
The Hannah Schmitz of Mercedes! She has allowed her team to achieve a reputation of never breaking down all these years. Mercedes has been the only team this season without a mechanical DNF, despite being one of the teams which has made the most changes and upgrades to its car. Well done Emma!
She did a great job this year
Good job Emma. Keep up the great work. We appreciate you as fans
Awesome stuff Emma! 👏
Great job , lets Gooooo Team Merc F1
You're doing a fantastic job.
What an incredible person! Just thinking about that 7 month foundation of engineering course made my head spin! 🤯 Absolutely unreal! Major kudos and appreciation to Emma and her team as reliability has been a real strong point for us this year 👏👏👏👏
I love these My Job videos as it gives us a look into the people behind the three pointed star. They say it takes a village to raise a child, well it seems to take a town to get two cars on track and is great to get to see a bit more of the people who get them there.
i like this "my job in F1" series because although the drivers are the star of the raise, each and every member of the team plays a significant part in building, maintaining and making sure everything runs smoothly on the race track. more of this video please
Excellent and insightful view into what Emma does day to day and when at track!! Brilliant video and really enjoyed Emma walking us through what she does!!🤘
Nice to meet you Emma..keep up the good work...its been a mammoth task this year!
Emma great job with the reliability this year!! Because of you guys we are were we are. Keep doing great!!
What a chad, not a single reliability retirement for not only Mercedes but also for the Mercedes engine customers
Great insight! Thank you for sharing with us Emma!
Based on the results this season she's doing a damn fine job!
Great job Emma!! Pleased to meet you🙌💥🙌😄
Dear Emma you and team doing amazing job to keep our team in championship battle 🎈
Obviously this woman knows what she’s doing.
she is doing an amazing job, thanks for the reliability
She makes a really good job. Mercedes hasn't had any relieabilty problem in the last races. You are doing a really good job.
Thank you Emma for doing such an amazing job!
Never in the public eye, but your work speaks volumes. Great job Emma.
That was an excellent and thorough explanation of the job.
I am envious! That would be my dream job on a F1 next to being the driver. Working anywhere and everywhere problem solving. Something new everyday. Perfect.
I wish Netflix would focus more on engineers and mechanics in Drive to Survive, the teams consist of more than just Managers and the Drivers.
Well your doing a great job this season!! Considering the fuel change new regs etc very impressive!!
with recent Merc reliability sucess when all other teams are struggling I can say they Emma is doing a fantastic job
Good job Emma , merc is the most reliable team on the grid
Lots of respect for you, Emma ❤️keep up the great work 😍
Excellent hire for Mercedes, her parents are proud and she should be proud as well
As a Reliability Engineer, I feel so proud and happy with this video, amazing see that even in the F1 we have similar challenges as in the conventional industry. Despite the performance hasn't been the best in the last year, for sure reliability is the best among all teams. Congratulations for your work!
With how bulletproof the W13 is, she's doing a great job
Reliability has been the one shining example this season, even compared to RBR and Ferrari. Emma's team has kept Merc afloat and deserves quite a bit of credit if they can snag P2 in the Constructors' championship.
fascinating! thank you for your hard work Emma.
Mercedes reliability has been on point for long time now.
Even this year when everything was off, reliability has been top notch.
You must be really really good at what you do
Very interesting insight into another team members role within the running of these fascinating cars.
Emma be doing the most! Reliability has scored Merc a lot of points owing to the issues that have plagued Ferrari this season.
This seasons Reliability is top notch and it better than previous seasons. Hope it will continue rest of the season. Great job guys. Have a wonderfull season 🙂🙂🙂🙂
I appreciate the subtitles, it's a shame F1 channel doesnt do it. As a non fluent english speaker I appreciate that, thanks
Pure class. Just pure class. Enjoyed it.
Thank you for your great work on the W13!!! Your work is greatly appreciated by millions of Mercedes F1 fans, me included.
Emma obviously you are doing a great job... and Keep up the good work...
Treasure it mate! You guys are a lucky one!
3:13 She has herself as her sticker! Cute!
Thank you for taking care of W13 so far
I wonder if the timing of this video is intentional. On results day, you tell us a story about how someone who changed their career path & probably needed to pivot their choice of course & university as their A-Levels wouldn't have been sufficient yet they turned out successful.
Thank you Emma !
You’re doing a great job Emma!
Great job Emma. Still waiting for admin's video
Excellent insight into the team.
Love this content 👏 👌 🙌
Waiting for a senior top speed engineer video
You need a raise. The Mercedes cars have been brilliantly reliable for many years.
give Emma a raise!
A great job 🫶🏻❤️ well well-done ❤️
Minhas Congratulações, Parabéns pela função profissional, executada esta com uma responsabilidade extrema! Estou a disposição para somar o Time Mercedes! Show!
So far so good keep it up
Clearly the best in the business at she does, our reliability has been second to none this season!!
You are doing a good job🏁🏁
i think you are the MVP of the season amongst all role in the team
She is lucky to work for such a great company
Floating between the silos and bringing people out of their rabbit warrens - a fascinating task that's worth hundredths per lap. Gogo high performance!
I can tell from her work performance how good she is and even the team because the w13 is so reliable that the w13 hasn’t given way but it’s strong and plus now they can beat the Ferrari which is Amazing. Now it’s should be competitive enough to beat the red bulls and then done 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻good job Mercedes and let’s get that double podium 👍🏻👍🏻
Meanwhile at ferarri
: write that down mario, write that down.
Emma you are doing great work
I love the video
What an amazing job!
