  • A lot of these are ubiquitous and offered by many industry certification vendors, but a few could catch on IMO.

Great video. I didn't realize until the end that your channel was small - this takes me as one of those 200k view type vids, good work, hope to see you get more.

CompTIA is a huge cash grab. Sec+ for DoD requirements and sometimes Net+ are the only certs that matter in the job market.

There really aren't that many coding certifications out there from organizations like COMPTIA...it will be interesting to see what it involves

I figured it would have been maybe (3):
    CompTIA AI essentials
    CompTIA AI+
    CompTIA AISys / AIAr+ /AIX
Also, I think they are going to over-saturate with all those (little) a+ certifications. Mind as well add those to the original A+, Linux+, and Server+

Definitely planning on getting the network+!!
I am sure learning won't be too hard using an old course and going over the exam objectives sheet until i can explain every part on there.
    What do you think?

After working in IT for 23 years, (12 years professionally), I have been out of work for about 2 years (stupid federal Covid Mandate). I am technically "re" starting my carreer, as I am studying to get my SEC+ renewed and CYSA+ (only because I have a voucher). With these new Certs, I am wondering whether any old certs are even worth a dang.

Should have just called the ITF+ the Tech Essentials+ or the IT Essentials +

Theyre saturating the market making it convoluted to know what path to take. Its such an obvious cash grab they could have consolidated these a bit or charge way less

I think they throw whatever they can at the wall and let the universe decide which ones become a 'staple' in the industry!

Hey family do not trust comptia. All they wanna do is drain your bank account just get a Google IT Support certificate. If they recruiter doesn't know what that is just laugh at them and show them how out of the loop they are for not knowing.

Is the Google IT Support certificate more credible than CompTIA A+? Thanks

I think CompTIA is shying away from coding due AI (specifically how powerful Devin is becoming) I see CompTIA focusing a lot in Machine Learning.
