What part of Tennessee? I build decks in Sevier County / Gatlinburg area. I will agree it gets HOT here. Been non stop rain for about 2 weeks 95 and 90% humidity isn't fun.
Question. Do you think non pressure treated wood with the joist tape is good enough? I did it on my deck a few years ago. Made a video about it, and people said it should have been pressure treated…. Correct me if I’m wrong but this doesn’t look like pressure treated or cedar. I live in a dry high desert environment. Let me know.
It is pressure treated! But I agree it really doesn’t look like it, the pressure treated back in Colorado looks WAY different, but this was stamped and everything 🤷♂️
