Idk, once I do something horrid like murder a person and the dark ominous music starts to play it makes me feel so bad about what I'd done that I load the save game on the spot
Red dead redemption 2 is the best open world game ever, no denying it, such a shame that rockstar just left this game for dead and is only focusing on a franchise that isn’t even that good. We need more red dead updates.
I always return to Red Dead Redemption one way or another. I’ll have it downloaded on my PS5, delete it, but then feel the need to go hunting or do a mission again, and I make room for it, again. It’s such a perfect game.
@@ProScrood I’m trying to complete some newer games that’ve come out since. But when I need a palette cleanser of a game, something to just put on and play to get my mind out of a feeling of burnout? I usually want to play Witcher 3 (Gwent mini-game usually, now that I know how to play) or RDR2. Trying for the Zoologist and Skin Deep trophies just because I know it’ll take time and I’m in no rush.
Last time I started the game, i was wandering in Armadillo. Climbed at a hilltop, and used my binoculars only for the fun.. Suddenly I saw two mustangs playing with each other in the sand. Than they started to have a sand-bath, and they ran away. The whole interaction between them was so beautiful that I could tell they were a couple in love. Playing for years but never saw this one.. left me in tears..
I believe you might just revere RDR2 as much as I do. I absolutely am ruined for other games because of the amazing art of this game. And I'm talking about art, not just in the sense of the graphics (which are eye popping) but in the music, in the story lines, in the characters, and in the game play. Although I'm generally a PC player, I actually bought an Xbox Series X to play the game on before it was released to PC. Moreover, I own the Legend of the East outfit on both Xbox and on PC. I loved every minute of the grind. (well mostly) Now for my last point. I'm turning 77 years old in August. I've been a gamer since the 90's. And I've never fallen in love with a game like Red Dead Redemption 2.
That's impressive! My Dad is 80 and still plays games. He definitely isn't on your level all do respect to him. I love to hear and see that gaming is still at the heart at this age! Congrats for the grind too. Thats behond dedication. I'm currently playing it over. On chapter 3. I almost have all the sachels and look forward to taking it slow this time around. When it first came out, I took Friday and the Monday off just to experience it with extra time. It's a masterful game and it's kind of sad that all that effort that was put in, Rockstar hasn't released any updates for the PS5, PS4, PC. Eitherway, it's still the greatest open world game of all time. Hopefully GTA 6 will be even better. Take care!
This game is one of those first time moments for people where if this game truly and completely resonates with you then you are hooked for life. Still today I have a huge hole in my heart only Read Dead Redemption 2 can fill. If you give yourself to this game and if you WANNA BE A COWBOY.. OR DIRTBAG lol but if you roleplay or just have fun it is so immersive. We all have those games in our life that completely wreck us! Yet in a good way. In one form or fashion . RDR2 is like a dagger to a heart in a good way even compared to most storytelling in the past few years, except those who excel at their craft as well. I have "bonded" with my horse like it was the first time every playthrough. The memories from John to Arthur are a thing of artistic beauty. I honestly do not know if RDR3 could be made today.. guess we'll see how GTA VI is.
@dakotarock6422 Hell yea. First time playing it, I was too young to see the beauty in this gaming world. Now it's another way to distract, N red Dead has sights all over. What horse did you tame or buy, I got the upgraded edition of red dead and it comes with a horse that has kinda lightning strike pattern for it's coat, hasn't bucked me off neither.
I was just roaming around Tall Trees when I just witnessed a mexican husband's wife getting her throat slit by the Skinner Brothers. I tried to help as quick as I could, but I wasn't fast enough. His scream did something to me...
Remembering all those "boring" chapter 2-3 parts while playing the epilogue in first playthrough made me realize how good those times were and how everything was so much better before the Guarma stuff. Felt like an idiot for not appreciating those moments.
Mate keep doing what your doing because the quality of your videos match that of some of the biggest gaming creators on this platform. Love the video 👍
My personal tip for first time players: start off by playing online missions first. You get to see Sean before he is captured, Joe, and Sadie’s husband Jake before the O’Driscolls show up.
It’s fun to watch people do playthroughs as they play like every other game they are used to (running everywhere, riding top speed, thinking they can clip through terrain) and hilarious results occur
@@ProScrood my favorite thing is watching the domino effect as people try and take out one witness to a crime and then gets seen by another, and another, and …..
Ill play this game for the rest of my life probably. One day, maybe Ill even try a low honor route. Through all my playthroughs I could never bring myself to do it lol so I still have that to look forward to Edit: For anyone passing through you can totally get the Legend of the East outfit as Arthur easily by completing all challenges but herbalist, leave gambler 10 for last, and then complete that challenge by replaying the Swanson rescue mission. You can get it as early as chapter 3!
The best way to play this game, in my opinion, is to go into 1st PERSON VIEW and TURN THE COMPASS OFF. Only open the overview map AND USE THE ROAD SIGNS to try and navigate your way around the map.
agree with almost everything you said. this game is a masterpiece. i spent my life on xbox and recently bought a ps5 and loved this game so i am playing it again. im in chapter 2 still with 20hrs played because im roaming around doing side quests and enjoying the scenery. what a great game!
I feel your first words. RDR2 is the most beautiful game ever. Sometimes i think about playing the story again for the first time without any knowledge.

Yes and you can do the secret roberies to get weapons and some money. If you dont kill the shop owner or lady in valentine, you'll be fine. My wanted was only 0,50$ 😂
I recently picked up a 1080 projector primarily for watching movies while camping. But after watching this video, you have given me the idea of replaying it on a 100"+ screen.
After not playing since completing the story the year it came out. I'm now replaying it on PC and just taking my time with the game, did challenges I've never done before like the "Master Hunter Challenge" and getting those sick outfits. I've probably spent around 15 hours doing side quests and errands while just leaving Micah at the StrawBerry jail. I rescued Sean and had the event where we celebrated Sean's return, everyone was there except Micah of course. I will initially stop by the Strawberry jail just so he gets a glimpse and head over to the "BlackBone Forest" to get more perfect pelts, all the while delaying the Thomas Downes quest so Arthur is still healthy, I'll do the main missions at some point.
This game is a masterpiece. What I don't like is that on main missions you have to follow the yellow line. There is no chance to approach the missions in a different way.
The story is pretty restricted but I guess it had to be that way because it’s a strict plot. We’ll have to see what RDR3 is like in terms of flexibility in the story 🤷♂️
Man, this game is literally my favorite game. I know it's getting older now, which is crazy to think about. I never got into online, this game is mostly for the story. My homie is playing it for his first time. I'm about to hop back on it soon. The classic cougar attack 😂 they spawn in that area a lot too. Good video bro 👌
Every Rockstar game I always bump into NPCs, jump/dive into them and crouch walk all around them. You will get some of the most hilarious reactions from NPCs this way. Oh and falling from rooftops onto them. 😂
It's easy man i was getting it before any mission in chapter one until i did a mistake i picked up a flower that only is a few in chapter one and will disappeare until you reach chapter 4 and that was the only mission i needed to do to get the outfit in chapter one i just gave up cause i wanted to get the outfit before starting my first mission
I fucken love this game my only negative and it’s probably just me was when Arthur got TB and his death was inevitable and because I knew it was coming didn’t really hit me as much not like John Marsden’s unexpected demise in RDR1 now that one broke me
Just about done with my second play through. Have to find some Graves, and finish the Herbalist Challenges for 100%. Going to do a 3rd play through, but man I am going to dread doing some of these challenges again. Hunting and going to the Trapper is my fav part of the game too BTW: dude you have to know that’s where a Cougar spawn is in your video!! Great video. Makes me more anxious to play my 3rd playthrough. GTA V was my fav game of all time. But RD2 def took my top spot.
Good luck with your second play through! Hope you enjoy it, also yeah I ran through the area prior to filming and there were no cougars, the one time I don’t one one to show up it does 😭, also thanks for the support 🙌 it’s hugely appreciated
when I played I only used autosave, which made me really-really care about my actions you could spend a hour hunting a proper bear in a proper way, carefully delivering the pelt, then stop to see some kkk fools deleting themselves, make fun of one of them and then, before you know it, die from a knife in a heart, because you was too busy laughing, underestimating this bastard's resolve and here went your bloody pelt and a hour of gameplay and the next time you find that god forsaken bear in another hour, some cougar would teleport on your back, while you skinning 100% recommend
Im not an avid gamer but there are games that I would like to play, but I can't warrant the prices of new games, I can easily wait for a game to be on PS PLUS or free, I've only just started playing this game, and after 100's of hours in Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a real eye-opener, I'm constantly looking around and listening to the characters, 3 days in and it is possibly the best game I've played, of course, I'm dying in shoot outs as im a noob but I can honestly see myself investing a lot more hours into this game. 👍🏻
@@ProScrood I must apologise but hopefully you can understand that I did finish watching your video, I've made the mistake of searching RDR 2 on CZcams and now I'm getting videos on it all the time, all though you have a great video for me it's the spoiler alerts, I will subscribe to you and check in now and then with my progress, itf that's OK 👍🏻
The reason i like rdr2 mire then gta 5 is that gta 5 is way too unrealistic, in rdr2 you're so much down to earth. You can't create 40 arrows in 5 seconds, you have to craft each one, but that was just one example
@@ProScrood 100%… any things I should do before moving on to Chapter 4? I’ve done all the challenges, upgraded the camp etc… I feel like I need a new horse, what should I get?
@@Milkydrummer Really depends on your play style and preference, however I love the Arabians and Turkomans, the Arabians are the most agile horses and I think they look the best too, Turkomans are the best “All round horse” in my opinion, between speed, agility, health, and strength. A good option is to go to chapter 4 so it unlocks the Saint Denis stables and then consider purchasing the black Arabian or a Turkoman 🙌
Going thru story mode right now, and man, am i enjoying it. Played it few a years ago, ran thru the story, and then completely forgot about it. Got a ps5 recently and started playing RDO. This game, in general, is very slow paced and a change from other games, but it isn't a bad thing. I unlocked the bounty hunter role and on my first bounty. It was a complete fail. Im avoiding guides for now because part of the enjoyment is discovering, exploring, and oversoming hurdles. Also, the horses. But Im broke. Good content. Keep it up
Cheers thank you for the support. And yeah I 100% understand you, we all play the game differently because there’s literally endless ways to do it, either way I hope you’re enjoying your play through again 😁
First time on your channel and I agree with you without a doubt, ive been playing this game for around a month and ik im not OG but this game had me replaying it 4 times already.
Hey. loved the video. If you would like to experience another great immersive game you should give Kingdom Come Delieverance a try. The quality not quite on the level as in RDR2 but it's still worth a try just for the immersion.
There's no doubt that it is the best game ever! I would have to say guama is the only thing I didn't care for. I just wanted to be back on a mainland playing the game
Amazing video! Great quality and useful information. Also, I noticed that you reply to everyone’s comment with something positive. I love that you do that! Keep up the great work!❤️

I played this game when it released back in 18 and refused to replay it due to the way the story ended 🫠. However I loaded it up again 2 weeks ago and it’s aged perfectly. What a beautiful beautiful game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the greatest games in the history of gaming! I would like Rockstar to make the same games only in other times e.g. in the Middle Ages also with an online module. It would be nice to see RDR3 with a completely new world... but most of all, I would also like R* and Take 2 to become smarter and listen to their fans and the entire community much more...
I’ve always played this game like Arthur is a good man who has to bad things…this time..he is an outlaw who has a 5k bounty…he is a bad man who does good things from time to time…much more fun to be the bad guy
@@ProScrood I mean he shoots up valentine killing the sheriff and who knows who else..kills half of strawberry…kills both ruling families in Rhodes..basically kills al Capone..gets rid of the mayor in san dennis kills a sugar baron in Cuba and a oil baron who may have the ear of the president…that’s a lot of political change

Ive got over 30 or 40 mods and... i have over 30 or 40 mods for my perfect undead nightmare II experience. I honestly feel like john marston in rdr2 is made to play with mods.
Played the first one forever. Did everything. RD2 didn't hit the same for me. I think I got 8 hrs into it and just stopped. So on the third evening playing, I just shut it off and just didn't play it again. I'm sure something else pulled me away. I think I was pretty bored with it. I don't know!
I've been trying to get every single trapper clothing as Arthur. I already have the legend of the east outfit thanks to the buggy glitch to get NA plants. Now I've got all the animals from NA for outfits except for a Gila Monster that's so hard to find. And I'll still have to get the legendary animals to really get everything. I'm stuck on chapter 3 with lvl 10 beard until I get all clothing and all the hats I can find
Hahaha that’s the RDR2 hunting spirit for you, love this comment! Gila monsters are ridiculously hard to find, also for some reason it took me wayyyyyy to long to find a possum that would play dead 😂
@@ProScrood Finding a possum playing dead was really easy near riggs station, judt chase it until it plays dead. As for thr gila monster, I currently lost my will to live. Between the pinkertons spawning again right before going into New Austin and them shooting the lantern of the buggy idk why but I can't do this glitch anymore, I've been going out of the map for it but I can't find it no more
I totally agree that rdr2 has ruined all other games for me, I got it in 2019 and haven't put it down since, and mostly story mode, I just can't get enough, and nothing compares
Canonically the BEST WAY to really live in the world without feeling like you’re drifting is Spoiler ahead --- I spend a few days in the wild once Dutch asks Micah to be saved. Imagine arthur is contemplating this for the future of the gang Once Arthur escapes from Colm, I explore the wild as I feel arthur needs time to find himself Before going to the question mark in Saint Denis, I then explore again and make out I’m just trotting past and they call us. I also save most of the side quests for the prologue to give John some content to do. I do this once Abigail leaves and make sure they’re done before she returns (as wouldn’t feel realistic)
Did they ever fix the bug where everyone thinks your character is naked? I had to shelve it because of that one it was so annoying and immersion breaking in camp.
Glad you like the video, I love cyberpunk, haven’t really played too much of it but I’m meaning to keep playing it. It’s very immersive, shame it had a bad launch, the game is also a masterpiece 🙌

Every Rockstar game I always bump into NPCs, jump/dive into them and crouch walk all around them. You will get some of the most hilarious reactions from NPCs this way. Oh and falling from rooftops onto them. 😂
@@paulalverson7211 They’re funny as to mess with for sure 😆🙌
Best game ever made.
By far 😁
Outro song is a really nice remix of farcry 5 ost
Yeah I love it 🙌
Play it for the 8th time in a row !!!!
❤❤❤
Definitely 🙌
RDR2 and Cyberpunk are the 2 best games
Cyberpunk is great too 🙌
I lived a second life in RDR2.
Don't know if I'll ever experience that again,
Same here, I’m sure GTA 6 will be amazing, and RDR3 down the line too 🙌
Legend of the East in chapter 3…. Respect
Thank you 🙌
It's easy man i was getting it before any mission in chapter one until i did a mistake i picked up a flower that only is a few in chapter one and will disappeare until you reach chapter 4 and that was the only mission i needed to do to get the outfit in chapter one i just gave up cause i wanted to get the outfit before starting my first mission
@@sinaradss Love this
I love this game so much, I built a PC just to play it on ultra settings. I hope GTA 6 is just as good.
Me too 🙌
I fucken love this game my only negative and it’s probably just me was when Arthur got TB and his death was inevitable and because I knew it was coming didn’t really hit me as much not like John Marsden’s unexpected demise in RDR1 now that one broke me
Very true 🙌
I started playing it again after 2 years. Finished story. Then added mods and am going through 100% it. Can’t put it down now
@@Maddog0608 It’s just too good to let go, especially with mods 🙌
Just about done with my second play through. Have to find some Graves, and finish the Herbalist Challenges for 100%. Going to do a 3rd play through, but man I am going to dread doing some of these challenges again. Hunting and going to the Trapper is my fav part of the game too
BTW: dude you have to know that’s where a Cougar spawn is in your video!!
I wish they would create bounty mission with Sadie, but it seems like this game was abandoned what a shame
It definitely had a lot of wasted potential 😔
The single best game I've ever played and it was left to die because they couldn't monetize it like gta............ it speaks volumes about r⭐️
The best game ever 🙌
RDR2 is the closest to West World one can get for now.
Oh definitely 🙌
This is still my favorite game I try to do it differently each play thru and have multiple profiles for honorable and dishonorable enjoyment
@@vastvideos7212 Definitely for sure 🙌
when I played I only used autosave, which made me really-really care about my actions
you could spend a hour hunting a proper bear in a proper way, carefully delivering the pelt, then stop to see some kkk fools deleting themselves, make fun of one of them and then, before you know it, die from a knife in a heart, because you was too busy laughing, underestimating this bastard's resolve
and here went your bloody pelt and a hour of gameplay
and the next time you find that god forsaken bear in another hour, some cougar would teleport on your back, while you skinning
100% recommend
Definitely 🙌
I’m going to give it a second play through in the near future. Need to improve my deadeye skills.
Hope your future play through goes well 🙌
Im not an avid gamer but there are games that I would like to play, but I can't warrant the prices of new games, I can easily wait for a game to be on PS PLUS or free, I've only just started playing this game, and after 100's of hours in Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a real eye-opener, I'm constantly looking around and listening to the characters, 3 days in and it is possibly the best game I've played, of course, I'm dying in shoot outs as im a noob but I can honestly see myself investing a lot more hours into this game. 👍🏻
Exactly it’s just perfect! Can never have too many hours in it 🙌
@@ProScrood I must apologise but hopefully you can understand that I did finish watching your video, I've made the mistake of searching RDR 2 on CZcams and now I'm getting videos on it all the time, all though you have a great video for me it's the spoiler alerts, I will subscribe to you and check in now and then with my progress, itf that's OK 👍🏻
@@MACHOO179 Of course no worries, play at your own pace, the game is life altering. Take all the time you need 😁 I also appreciate the support 🙌
@@ProScrood 👍🏻
I love playing this game with mods
Can’t wait to do so myself 🙌
The reason i like rdr2 mire then gta 5 is that gta 5 is way too unrealistic, in rdr2 you're so much down to earth. You can't create 40 arrows in 5 seconds, you have to craft each one, but that was just one example
@@end-bat45 Exactly
I love this game when I’m not doing gambler challenges
Hahaha me too bro me too 🙌
@@ProScrood just did gambler 9 I’m almost there
Almost, hope you get 10 soon 🙌
I've got about 200 videos of things you can do in another playthrough. Mainly unlocking late game items early
I just started my fourth playthrough a couple of days ago! This is my favorite game of all time!
By far my favourite too 🙌
You can't relive something if you've already lived enough.
You can always try 🙌
Totally agree with your opening statement.
The greatest game of all time 🙌
@@ProScrood 100%… any things I should do before moving on to Chapter 4? I’ve done all the challenges, upgraded the camp etc… I feel like I need a new horse, what should I get?
@@Milkydrummer Really depends on your play style and preference, however I love the Arabians and Turkomans, the Arabians are the most agile horses and I think they look the best too, Turkomans are the best “All round horse” in my opinion, between speed, agility, health, and strength. A good option is to go to chapter 4 so it unlocks the Saint Denis stables and then consider purchasing the black Arabian or a Turkoman 🙌
People bitched for decades asking for more realism in a game and when they finally got it with RDR2, they bitched about it.
Yeah it’s odd
@@ProScrood it was actually annoying
Great video bro, ive subbed now 👌 I'll watch the rest later, im booting up RDR2 now 😂 I'll be back tho
Thanks so much for the sub! Really appreciate it. Also glad you enjoyed the vid, more coming shortly 🙌
can you do a video based on the challenges? like the best ways to do them?
Sure thing I’ll see what I can get done for you 😁🙌
Going thru story mode right now, and man, am i enjoying it.
To relive the first playthrough all you got to do is forget red dead redemption 2 and boom relive the first playthrough
Exactly 🙌
Play the whole thing in cinematic view 😉
Definitely challenging 😆
First time on your channel and I agree with you without a doubt, ive been playing this game for around a month and ik im not OG but this game had me replaying it 4 times already.
It’s just too great of a game to not play it more than once 🙌
Hey. loved the video. If you would like to experience another great immersive game you should give Kingdom Come Delieverance a try. The quality not quite on the level as in RDR2 but it's still worth a try just for the immersion.
@@theRozman88 I’ve seen the game around before but never really thought about it, I’ll have to give it a try 🙌😁
There's no doubt that it is the best game ever! I would have to say guama is the only thing I didn't care for. I just wanted to be back on a mainland playing the game
On my first ay through, guarma was definitely annoying, however when I played it more, the more I liked the unique change in scenery 🙌
Just started a new replay. Still amazing as the day it came out
As always 🙌
Amazing video! Great quality and useful information. Also, I noticed that you reply to everyone’s comment with something positive. I love that you do that! Keep up the great work!❤️
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Always gotta make sure to spread positivity and make sure no ones opinion is left out! thank you, many more vids on the way 😁🙏
Also I'm happy that you're making this video❤
Glad you enjoy it 😁🙌
I played this game when it released back in 18 and refused to replay it due to the way the story ended 🫠.
However I loaded it up again 2 weeks ago and it’s aged perfectly. What a beautiful beautiful game.
Just amazing 🙌
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the greatest games in the history of gaming! I would like Rockstar to make the same games only in other times e.g. in the Middle Ages also with an online module. It would be nice to see RDR3 with a completely new world... but most of all, I would also like R* and Take 2 to become smarter and listen to their fans and the entire community much more...
Very true 🙌
I agree, definitely the best game of all time. In my new play through I’m not using dead eye.
Definitely, also that’s a very hard challenge, good luck 🙌
I’ve always played this game like Arthur is a good man who has to bad things…this time..he is an outlaw who has a 5k bounty…he is a bad man who does good things from time to time…much more fun to be the bad guy
In the end it sure is 😆 however when you get to the end I always regret it because he gets a bad ending 😭
@@ProScrood I’m relatively new to Rdr2 but has anyone covered the political fall out Arthur and company cause in the game?

Ive got over 30 or 40 mods and... i have over 30 or 40 mods for my perfect undead nightmare II experience. I honestly feel like john marston in rdr2 is made to play with mods.
For sure 🙌
Played the first one forever. Did everything. RD2 didn't hit the same for me. I think I got 8 hrs into it and just stopped. So on the third evening playing, I just shut it off and just didn't play it again. I'm sure something else pulled me away. I think I was pretty bored with it. I don't know!
Sometimes the story doesn’t interest everyone 🤷♂️ but if you replay it at some point and get invested it’ll be great
Elden Ring is also a really good open world game
Indeed it has 🙌
You can unlock the lote outfit in chapter 3.
Yeah
Between the pinkertons spawning again right before going into New Austin and them shooting the lantern of the buggy idk why but I can't do this glitch anymore, I've been going out of the map for it but I can't find it no more
@@lancratot5066 Yeah they’re just too hard to find. Those New Austin snipers are annoying as too

I totally agree that rdr2 has ruined all other games for me, I got it in 2019 and haven't put it down since, and mostly story mode, I just can't get enough, and nothing compares
For real, it’s just set the bar way too high for open world games 🙌

Canonically the BEST WAY to really live in the world without feeling like you’re drifting is
Spoiler ahead ---
I spend a few days in the wild once Dutch asks Micah to be saved. Imagine arthur is contemplating this for the future of the gang
Once Arthur escapes from Colm, I explore the wild as I feel arthur needs time to find himself
Before going to the question mark in Saint Denis, I then explore again and make out I’m just trotting past and they call us.
I also save most of the side quests for the prologue to give John some content to do. I do this once Abigail leaves and make sure they’re done before she returns (as wouldn’t feel realistic)
Definitely a great way to play the game for sure 🙌
@@ProScrood ❤️
They halted the further development of RDR2 for GTA5 Online. Which is absolutely backwards 😅
@@christianperez7846 It Definitely is 😔
1:15 until you get to the challenges
Also where is your legend of the east satchel
You can purchase at a fence after you complete the game 🙌
Did they ever fix the bug where everyone thinks your character is naked?
I had to shelve it because of that one it was so annoying and immersion breaking in camp.
Relatively sure they patched it from memory. I’m sure if you log on it should be fine now 🙌
@@ProScrood hmmm always that question of if I can jump back into an old save and remember where I was or if I wanna suffer the prologue again...
