This song actually reminds me of Nirvana's "Sliver" in that they both mention going to grandma's house -- Kurt wants his grandma to take him home, and Eloise wants to eat dinner at her grandma's house. Love the parallelism between the two songs.

My guess is this is how they actually wrote the song -- using just acoustic guitars and a drum machine. After all, it was difficult to have full band setups during lockdown. But these girls didn't let that stop them to write this awesome song. Hope that makes sense. 🤔
It's a nice variation, maybe constraints of the venue. I like that they get to play other instruments. It's Eloise's song and she could do it anyway she wants. Mila is so cute and poised, I like her out front. That said, when Eloise is on bass for this song, it really rocks and she plays the solo!
