Ashleigh's a great football player, she had a fantastic world cup tournament with the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the world cup, an outstanding game against England in the round of 16.
Nigeria is not a perfect country, but her ability to see past the clear short comings and challenges as she discovers and experiences the culture, the food, and connects with the people, is quite beautiful to observe.

Nigerians are acceptable and easy, rugged and resilient...even the poor ones know how to party and count their blessings. We're a bit brutally honest and very proud of out heritage. Nigerians have all sorta names , my last name is of Turkish origin ( My Grandad was Moslem) yet I’m fully Nigerian and my wife’s maiden name is also very English. Nigeria is one diverse country in so many things and thats the best thing about it. A nation with so many nations inside, Its a miracle we are still one and I love it that way.
