He did a great job in the movie. The last song in the movie I think, they blended clips of Elvis and clips of Austin, as well as clips of them both singing. It was obvious because Elvis's voice is extremely recognizable but they did it in a really good way to fill in gaps and connect the movie with reality.
Hi, I think I recall in an interview about the movie, that all of the audio for the early music is Austin Butler, partly because the quality of the original audio isn't the best, but later on, in some of Elvis's songs from the 60s and 70s are mixed with Austin and Elvis for the audio
@@christenkemp5100 and yet I heard all AUSTIN in the 50s 60s but a mix of both voices for the late 70s, and the very last song was all ELVIS, but for the first 14 seconds it's was AUSTIN at the piano and then switches to ELVIS
@@joannemurdock7899 I am not exactly sure what time period in the film they switched over from independently Austin to a mix of Austin and Elvis. I really appreciated that they had Elvis's last performance in the movie and in life close out the film
The very last performance they show in Elvis singing Unchanged Melody is the last recorded performance of Elvis before he died.

What's most incredible, is that this is pre-production footage, so this was before he perfected his Elvis sound and previous to all the insane vocal training he had to go through!

Keep in mind:
- Austin sings all the young 1950’s Elvis scenes entirely himself
-HOWEVER, starting from after he returns from the army from the 60’s thru the 70’s they blended both Austin and Elvis singing.
-THEN (and this is mucho important as it was the very last song Elvis sang before his passing) the FINAL song is lip synced to 100% real Elvis in the most beautiful way. ❤
What blows me away about this is its from 2019... early in the process. He spent 2 years training and working on it AFTER this... it's already so damn good.
Austin Butler is so talented, the fact he had no prior singing experience and managed to deliver with those vocals and capture that Elvis sound is insane!
He was in broadway so he had some good experience

I think the jaw tension probably had something to do with the amount of emotion going into the original performance too, and austin was able to recreate that emotion perfectly
Some of the later Elvis songs in the movie. His voice changes 2-3 times as he ages..and the later tones are closer to the voice we remember - movies-concerts recordings etc

My mom and watched it a few weeks ago. My mom was 13 when she heard Elvis and loved him so much. Watching the movie she told me some facts and who some of the people were in the film. The best moment was where he played elvis in the white suite and my mom could not tell it was the actor playing him. She was so in awe of how good it was done. That is him, that is how he did it. I had so much fun watching it with her🥰
Elvis was a great movie. Always loved Baz's style. Butler and Hanks are just phenomenal. I've never really been an Elvis music fan, but mixed in with the events of the film, it all works amazingly.
All that to say, I'd love to watch a full movie reaction video.

PLEASE I'D LOVE TO WATCH YOU WATCH THE ELVIS MOVIE! Austin sings all of the younger elvis performances and the older elvis performances are actually the man himself but I didn't even notice a difference the first time I watched it, i think you'll love the film ❤️

They also have a higher rate of neuroinflammatory/mental health disorders like BPD, ASD/ADHD, addicition, depression, anxiety, etc. While many have little to no symptoms until a virus or trauma of mental or physical impact onsets acutely and then they'll develop the related autoimmune and ANS involvement. Others suspected are Gaga, Amy Whitehouse, Demi Lovato, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and many of those singers we consider the "powerhouse" voices we know today!

From what I understand, in the first part of the movie (Elvis' early years) was pretty much all Austin singing because the only recordings of Elvis they could find were all scratchy. Later in the movie, they started layering Austin's voice with Elvis', so the voice we heard in those performances were not 100% of either singer.

But Austin only sings two-three songs of the soundtrack, the rest he is blend of Austin and Elvis voices, I am pretty sure they did this in Bohemian Rhapsody too blending Mercury's voice with the singer.

oh wow, I haven't seen the elvis movie yet either so I didn't know how he sounded when singing (or just impersonating elvis in general) but this is so so cool to see, and this was such a good video! :)
also I'm newer to your channel so I'm not fully aware of what all of your videos are like but in terms of reaction videos it could always be fun to give kpop a try maybe? I noticed on your channel that you've reacted a little to kpop but maybe you could check out more groups/ songs too, since it seems like it could be different from what your other videos are like (especially since it looks like you haven't made many videos listening to kpop? although idk for sure so I'm sorry if I'm completely wrong on this lol).
also from what I've seen looking at your videos it looks like you mainly just listen to a song at a time when listening to an artist (again I'm sorry if I'm wrong on that) but if you have the time/ energy you could always do ep/ album reactions, where you listen to an entire ep or album by an artist instead of only one song? I feel like that could always be good to get a better understanding of an artist and how their voice sounds depending on the kind of song they're doing or something

(if it's not at all then I'm sorry for bothering you with this whole comment lol) also if you do decide to check out kpop I really recommend stray kids (songs like maniac and God's menu are so so good, although they'll also be releasing new music soon so you could always check the new songs out too once they come out), and also tomorrow x together (I really recommend good boy gone bad, 0x1=lovesong, loser=lover, and frost because all of them are so so amazing too (in general and vocally I think)) !

I just watched Elvis last night on CZcams and Austin's portrayal of Elvis is Oscar worthy just like Sissy Spacek's portrayal of Loretta Lynn's in Cole Miner's Daughter and Rami in Bohemian Rhapsody.

When watching this I suddenly realized how much I'd love for you to react to one of my favorite singers. His name was Kim Kwang Seok, a Korean singer who sadly took his life in the 90s. I think he had the voice of an angel even though I don't understand a single word. One of his most popular songs (and my favorite) is "Too painful a love was not love" or sometimes translated as "If it hurts it's not love"
