Yo I got a funny story about how at catechism, church school, one time as we were leaving the class the teacher puts holy water on our heads, and I had a cut or scratch from something on my forehead and it hurt when she did it, and she jumped back all scared like I was a demon, and my 9 year old self had to tell my 60 year old teacher that I wasn’t a monster lol, gang bro
She put it on her thumb and rubbed a cross and said something, I forget what it was, buy $HMBL and $AITX :)

How’s it going 9 mo later Don? Hope all is well
Did it last?

Respect to that doctor for opening up about his brother. It clearly motivates him in his work now!
psychedelic-assisted therapy is changing the world. most people can’t see it yet. good on theo for spreading the word

Ketamine isn’t a psychedelic but yeah. It’s a dissociative anesthetic.
15 year plus years of Opiates, H, Subs, Kratom, Alcohol (i'm talking 5am vodka chugging) ....i was fighting PAWS, but what I was told was that I have deep depression, but I didnt...I had paws. I finally went to Ketamine therapy. Changed my life...dramatically, both physically and mentally. If you really desire change...YOU truly have the power...and then some....insight happens.....take it and use it.

Im 32 and have been a chronic pain patient for over a decade. Spinal reconstructs, multiple broken vertebrae, severed nerves, and aggresive ketamine therapy changed my life. Got me off the opiates. After wasting away so many of my prime years Ketamine literally saved my life. Now I have an amazing job, have an amazing girlfriend, and expecting my first child. None of this would have been possible without ketamine therapy. This isnt even to mention the emotional/spititual growth and introspect i gained from it. Thank you Theo for having this Dr. on the show to help spread the word of this life saving treatment.
What about the physical pain?
Theo! I’ve been depressed since I was 12 years old and have had a lifelong dependency on substances and have been medicated for 16 years. I served 17 years in the Army, and after an injury I have been suffering chronic pain for 6 years. I have my intake appointment this Thursday for ketamine treatment. I’m so hopeful for the first time
Hello Kimberly, how did it go?
What's your definition of 'depressed'?
How did the therapy go?

I was in an emotionally unstable state far past depression where I went from numbness to collapsed on the floor crying in absolute misery to numbness every 15 minutes. I sought interveinous ketamine treatment in 2016 when it was experimental and only a few doctors were trying it. It made me feel fuzzy afterwards, but restabilized me and rather than continue with smaller doses of ketamine, I spent my time after the treatment session to look into what got me to be there and I put effort in to fixing my life (paired with therapy). Ketamine absolutely saved me from suicide. I have accomplished a lot in my life since then and now am in a great mental space. I hope other people are able to find the same success with their treatments.

I just started ketamine treatment last monday. I am doing 2 weeks of 4 treatments a week and this podcast was probably the most out of nowhere thing i needed in this little weekend break before I go back into my warp spirit. Opened my eyes up a lot, cheers to you Theo, my spirit walkin brother
You posted this 6 months ago. I'm curious if the positive effects of ketamine lasted or wore off? If so, how long did it last?
@@toastedjoe1013 there were many levels to the positive effects. The most intense positive effects did not last, and I have since had to go back and do catchup treatments but those are only like once or twice a month. But for the most part that first go when I did 2 weeks in a row really changed how I view things and how I take the world in. So some of the more potent positive effects didn't last, but it definitely was a fantastic reset and there are still positives, even if they aren't as noticeable
@@cortazwow4430 I had a similar experience. Did 6 IV ketamine sessions and felt good for the first time in years, but it only lasted about 2 weeks. I can't afford to keep doing $500 sessions and found taking 5g or more of mushrooms by myself is as effective.
