Its easier to just rewrap it around an object and so that you font have to mess with the solar panel end. Super simple. Sometimes they actually come correctly in the first place. My last three orders were wrapped correctly. I've wrapped close to 20 trees 🤷

What kind of splice clips did you use? The wire is so small. If it was the link you posted for "Electric Connectors" Amazon says page not found.
I used WAGO wire connectors. If you type it in on Amazon it will come up.
Couldn't you just start from the other end (where it connects to the power) and trim off the tail? Better than splicing?
You still deal with the control box going around and getting tangled.
Yes just rewrap around something so that the correct end is ready to wrap. Work smarter not harder.
My son sent me a box with two light unites in it. They have been charged in the sun but neither one of them will turn on. What am I doing wrong? I really want them to work.
Is the little on/off switch on?
I can't remember for sure, there might be a little plastic tab that needs removed to give the battery contact with the connector.
