    One of the best videos for beginners to learn from.

    totally agree with you, i live in Norfolk in the UK and got into astronomy 18 months ago at the age of 65, i have a 150mm goto and a Canon DSLR, but I've seen things with the Dwarf that i couldn't with my goto telescope. Also with that came along other expense in the way of wide field eye pieces , barlow eye piece , battery pack , dew shield etc. in total nearly £2000 . I brought the Dwarf 11 Deluxe for £412.
    Certainly my other scope i like for planets and some star clusters, but the Dwarf 11 in something else. also when its freezing out side you can operate it from indoors and watch the images stack via you computer/phone or tv.
    Some times on a very clear night its hard to get going with a normal telescope because of finding three stars, dressing up warm, etc etc
    The Dwarf for the price is excellent in everyday, and with constant updates will only get better.

      Colin, its a great little scope. I don't think it will replace my redcat or C8, but I love the portability and ease of set up. I wish they would have had this available when I first started out.

      @@thedigitalastronomer6442 i've wanted a nice telescope my entire life but the price of getting into it was quite steep. This is a great entry priced unit and I'm excited to learn about and use mine more. It just got here yesterday.

    hi joe, i wanted to take some time to thank you for your series of instructional videos on youtube, related to how to use dwarf telescopes for us new users. i envy you having a home with a large field and porch, i have limited sky coverage at my home, in such cases does the telescope take this into account when performing calibration and available targets? will the dwarf 3 operate similarly to the dwarf 2?

    Thanks for the photoshop info, new to PS and its challenging. Took me over 6 months to finally get Andromeda and other galaxy's beside the hours of the moon lol. Steep learning curve with the Dwarf but it actually works.

    12:20 - Unfortunately I can't drag the green box, and can't align the cameras. Maybe it is because of new app version? Or am I doing something wrong?

    I noticed in your video that you sometimes have problems using the joystick. In your example, if you switch to the wide angle lens to see the Sun and double tap the Sun, the Dwarf II will move the sun to the center of the box of the wide angle placing the Sun in the middle of the telephoto view without having to touch the joystick. This will allow you to locate items quickly. Just found your channel and have subscribed. Clear Skies.

    The sun is not yellow , it's actually white

      @thedigitalastronomer6442  Před 7 měsíci +1

      That's true but most astrophotographers colorize for a more dramatic effect. We do same when we colorize nebula with the hubble pallette.
