Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024

Euro NCAP performs a series of safety tests on light commercial vehicles:
Active safety is tested based on the van’s equipment: Autonomous Emergency Braking systems (car-to-car, pedestrian, and cyclist scenarios), lane support and speed assist technologies, and occupant status monitoring (attention assist and seatbelt reminders).

No, I just think since there was no passenger dummy, the seat didn’t sense the weight and didn’t deploy the center airbag

they don't always deploy in the case of there not being a front passenger, manufacturers can program the airbag control unit to only deploy certain airbags if the car senses there's someone in that specific seat, which is why the front passenger airbag tends to not go off if there isn't a front passenger

Test is just too easy. Nearly every car have 5 stars.
We need small overlap where mobile deformable barrier goes 60 km/h and tested car 50km/h.
We need heavier barrier.
More speed in large overlap crash test.
