i own this exact kit and every single snare drum that crush makes. as of last year I totally fell in love with crush after previously underestimating the quality and tone of their better kits. The only thing i find strange is that they release new kits, hardware, etc and then disappear into the mist again. no updated social media, youtube videos, new releases. I love the brand to death but seriously whats going on with this company! btw, that 13x7 snare he's playing is one of the best sounding snares i have ever purchased to date and I have had a bunch of good ones. Its gorgeous and sounds amazing. His is a but ringy and high pitched, but tuned down a hair and it becomes a backbeat monster!

i went into guitar center ready to walk out with the ludwig probeat classic maple kit and noticed this exact kit sitting on the shelf. I played it for 5 minutes and was instantly sold. I only use kits for recording and this has instantly become my absolute new favorite kit. It came with the rack and 16" floor tom and I already ordered the 14 floor from full compass to have this exact setup. Sounds absolutely amazing, made really really well, down to the details and looks amazing. Crush has really outdone themselves on this one!

@@motodrummer ive tried a few that I like but my current favs for recording are the coated pinstripes over clear ambassadors on the toms and the dunnett resotone ps3 batter on the kick batter with the dunnett resotone feltstrip resonant head on kick resonant side. I also like the regular coated emperors over the clear ambassadors on the toms but the coated pinstripes sound amazing. I also recently purchased the 14x7 crush hybrid snare and I can't believe it sounds the way it does. I literally took my 4x6.5 black beauty off the stand and replaced it with the crush snare. Maybe my favorite snare Ive ever purchased. That has the same head I use on every snare I record with. Evans hd dry over evans snare side 300.

The Crush Acrylic kit i owned was excellent. Seriously sonically superior to offers from Tama, DW and Pearl imo. Not at shot at those 3 but it may be the shell thickness and how the edges are at an apex point for the the head to rest on. My kit came with a traditional rim style mount as well which I prefer. Only reason i sold them is they got wet at shore dates and road crew didn't properly dry them before storing. Hardware rusted but it was unavoidable due to not being dried correctly. Excellent products coming from you guys. Really bring great features and shells at an affordable price to the market.
