There were still characters in the 5 kage summit arc that could stomp Naruto and Sasuke. Hell, the Raikage was literally gonna stomp out Sasuke. If it weren’t for Gaara, both the Raikage and Sasuke would be dead. If Pain wasn’t nerfed from fighting the village and if he also had the intent to kill (he wasn’t trying to kill but capture Naruto alive) then Pain would have stomped Naruto. Tobi could solo both of them. Onoki potentially can solo both of them.

@@christianramirez9303 She was also really good at using genjutsu. Kakashi mentioned teaching her genjutsu techniques and stated she was a natural. Kishimoto just didn't have a chance to showcase it before then forgetting altogether.

Nah, the boost you get when you are base form to 8th gate is way higher. Naruto already had 6 paths so the change in power was not nearly as high. Although I know baryon is way stronger.

The mere difference in power boost from 7th gate to 8th gate is a higher power boost then baryon mode (maybe even base to 1st gate)
W for the Hinata ranking, people underrate her because she faced Neji who was one of the strongest there

@@maze3652 Temari should definitely be above Shikamaru but don't know about Hinata. Hinata is close combat type while Temari is long ranged so Temari would win in an hypothetical battle against Hinata and even Neji but this is purely powerlevels.

@@jdm7210 MC or not doesn't matter he is very strong in part 1, as this is 2-4% only of his chakra because of the reaper death seal as stated in the manga so if Naruto trained like Sasuke without CM or Kyuubi chakra I have to say Naruto has higher odds.

Yes, Shikamaru proved to have excellent deduction skills and it earned him his chunin position, however Naruto not only won all of his fights, he also managed to stop a jinchuriki from destroying the village all by himself, AND he then played a part in the sand and leaf reconciliation, by talking some sense into Gaara.

At age 16 Naruto was saving the world completing missions kage couldn't complete and more *still a genin*
Ino was definitely a bit stronger than Sakura at this point. They were only equal in taijutsu (only in the manga, the anime made Ino hold back) but if it wasn't for Naruto screaming, Sakura would have been done against Ino's Mind Transfer. And Ino woke up first after the double K.O., meaning she would have the upper hand in a death match.
Eh IIRC, Inner Sakura was the one who woke her up from Ino's Mind Transfer though.
Had Ino tied herself to a tree right when she got Sakura under her control, Sakura would've lost. I also think that Sakura should have lost that fight. Although I admire Sakura right now, I really don't think she has the capabilities back then. If only Kishimoto or the anime creators made Sakura use her chakra control to walk in the walls, run super fast & kept throwing kunais at Ino so Ino wouldn't be able to capture her, I would've appreciate it more.

Gaara even said Lee is not even a human while fighting him. Sasuke Vs Lee will be a win for Lee in 5th gate because sasuke has no chance using chidori on Lee because he is too fast. Gaara lost to sasuke because earth style is weaker to lightning using any earth style shield won't do any good against chidori.

I would have given Ino a bit over 770 and actually given her a numerical advantage over Sakura. Ino could use a classified clan justsu, she outsmarted Sakura, and she did beat her, Sakura beating her mind possession was PURE plot armor. No one has been able to shake the mind transfer justsu except for Obito when he was controlling the ten tails. Ino won, plot armor made it a tie.
Yess, she was robbed and kishimoto made her dirty, bc she had real potential.
It is also implied she was one of the best students in the academia, only losing to sasuke

No, she was never a wasted potential. She was never that talented. There is a reason, her father chose not Hinata to be the next leader because she was less talented than her younger sister. The person that is a waste of potential is Neji because of his early death.

And yes she was not less talented, it was told in the novel where hanabi said that she lost against her because she didn't wanted to hurt her younger sister, and when they became adult then hanabi challenge hinata for a rematch and said not to hold back and then she completely annihilated hanabi
Hinata had way too much potential from all the female characters in the series but she was nerfed because of being a side character while sakura who had no potential was asspulled and got trained under hokage herself because of being the main character.

@@itachiuchiha7478 From the manga, Hinata was never that talented. She was just slightly above average. Neji was the only extremely talented one from Hyuga. Sakura worked out because she was very studious and had the best chakra control. The ideal student for Tsunade.

Tenten is not that weak in this part of the seriers. The only fight she had she fought against someone who could counter all of his moves.

-Choji gets stabbed to death and the same goes for everyone else. Kiba is the toughest fight here since he’s faster and can dodge her more effectively than everyone else but her wide spread attacks could still tag him. If Tenten uses twin dragons Kiba gets assaulted but can likely pull off a high diff win against her after akamaru gets coated in Kunai.

Hinata was super powerful at the beginning of the Naruto story.
Everyone was underestimates her. Fighting with Neji is impossible for her.

I would rank Dosu much higher. He was right up there with Kankuro and Temari on the threat scale during the preliminary round. It’s just a shame he got killed off the way he did. It appeared he was catching onto the fact that Orochimaru viewed him as a mere pawn to test Sasuke. So Dosu attempting to assassinate Gaara so he could essentially play his role as a pawn makes no sense.
Remember,when we all used to think that Orochimaru is the strongest character.

Dosu is so underrated here, dosu shown many moves that should place him almost at the top of genins from the tournament, only below characters like Neji, Lee, Naruto etc
Hinata pushed Neji into a corner a couple of times, Shino and Kurenai noticed it. Hinata is definitely on the faster end of the chunin exams characters especially because of the Byakugan.

Yea no she didn’t. From the start she lost , she herself acknowledged this and Neji acknowledged this. “ You don’t understand anything , ur attacks were useless from the very start” is wat Neji said to her.
Neji was just toying with the kid. But not to downplay hinata , she showed skill and speed. But facts are facts. She never and could never push Neji into a corner. Kurenai , Shino and everyone else didn’t even know wats happening. It only looked like she did because no one hinata included could even see how easily Neji was finessing her lol.

@@allmight3221 i think by writing "pushing into a corner", the commenter meant that neji needed to close her tenketsu in order to win. He was not able to defeat her with gentle fist and she was matching his speed.
And in war arc hinata was matching neji, so you couldn't say that she would never be able to push him in corner. Expecially since she had invented a better version of 64 palms by combining TLF and 64 palms (and before you say neji has 128 palms, no neji does not have 128 palms as that jutsu was filler. He never used it in manga and was added in anime to extend time only).
@@sudnrn Everything u said here is false. For one , Neji is the most skilled hyuga in the “history” of the clan and 2nd it’s point blank stated that he wasn’t even trying. Meaning even with standard gentle fist he stomps her and there is no debate to be had there.
She wasn’t matching his speed either. She was tiers slower. He was literally finessing and out speeding her so fast she couldn’t even “register” that she was being tagged by him. That was Neji simply matching her speed not the other way around , since he was trying to gauge her strength as he said himself. So all he did was parry he strikes while finessing her which he did so no way in hell does she match his speed since she can’t even register his attacks in her brain with her byakugan.
In the war arc she wasn’t matching Neji lmao. She couldn’t even perform 64 palms while Neji was alive much less matching him. When did she match Neji in the war? When they performed wall palm together? That doesn’t even make any sense since it doesn’t prove anything. We literally saw Neji running around the place trying to protect Hinata throughout the war.
Wat arc Neji dominates and stomps war arc Hinata so plz read the manga properly.

Kibas really underrated. The fact that he took on the STRONGEST sound 4 member apart from kimimaro and literally almost killed him.
Context is everything. He literally got stomped by Kidomaru with his team there and would get stomped any day of the week. The only person in the sound4 he can beat is Jirobo and that’s a maybe since jirobo can avoid his ultimate attack by going underground.
Lee should be much MUCH higher, gaara was the complete counter to lee (like how temari was the complete counter to tayuya) although I don’t think 5th gate lee could beat end multi shadow clone jutsu naruto I think he should have a higher power level just the stamina and recoil issue would make him lose
lee is the 4th or 5th strongest fighter in the exams so he good. Naruto , Gaara , Neji are all above him. Sasuke is also stronger as well some he’s fast enough to kill Lee before he opens the 3rd Gate. If Lee gets off hidden lotus then Sasuke get clobbered , but Sasuke ain’t gonna let that happen. Sharingan + weightless level speed + ability to open the 1st Gate spells the end for lee. 😊

I loved to see this video, but I don´t agree with some placements. 5 gates Lee is, I think, clearly above both Neji and maybe even Chidori Sasuke. Hinata had better be below the sand siblings. Shino also should be above Shikamaru cause his powers were much more verstile. This is obviously just my opinion

I agree that Neji is a bit higher on Lee on this arc. Because Neji can close all Lee's chakra point before he opens it.
Remember the Lee vs Shira. Shira able to close Lee's chakra points. And Lee having a hardtime. But Shira open it just to have a good fight with him with full extent.
So the point for me is Neji can close it, he has Byakugan, he is also fast.
But if Lee open the gates vs Neji. It will be a good fight for me haha. Ill go with Lee.
I know I’m late asl but if u ask me Neji gets whopped gara couldn’t keep up with his speed at all he could only keep up when lee got tired after he used his forbidden primary lotus which took a lot of his energy and even then he tanked all of garas attacks that alone puts him above neji

@@gadielzepeda68 the Naruto that fought Neji was is the same as the Naruto that fought Gaara...a few minutes possibly an hour apart...Neji is pretty strong and he possess the Byakugan and could even beat Sasuke at that point. Naruto at that point was the strongest candidate, even Kabuto's data cards showed that and he was shocked how fast Naruto improved in just a month. No way Gaara is stronger than Naruto.

It's more that in the anime they made him look stronger than in manga they went all out with Gara vs lee in anime
Shino should be higher than Hinata and the rest. He was a beast at this point and only reason he wasn't going around slaughtering all enemies was because it would be too brutal. He could send thousands of bugs to eat up his opponents from the inside. He also has good battle intelligence and average taijutsu as shown when he stopped Zaku's punch easily with one of his arms

Great video as always, would agree with the scaling for the most part (I think Shino should be quite a bit higher though even ahead Temari, Shikamaru and Hinata for a couple reasons) and Shukaku isn't at full power at all and is hinted that in the transformation, cause otherwise even Bunta realizes that he's no match for that. Also, just to specify, Bunta isn't the strongest toad summon but Ma & Pa (well excluding Toad elder in the anime filler with Hagoromo) are since they are perfect sages near the level of Sage Naruto. Even Gamakichi has sage jutsu he can use and surpassed his dad who should be same as Gamahiro & Gamaken in terms of toad summons

Tenten beats a considerable amount of the genin. Only Gaara, kankuro, Temari, Dosu, Zaku, Neji, and Lee (if gated) wins in the preliminaries against Tenten. None of the genin focused on defense for the most part and the ones that did like Temari, Gaara, Dosu, and Zaku would be the ones who counter her the most.

Lmao Naruto beats his ass with 2k clones or the same form he used to fight Neji.
Neji beats his ass by using chakra shield to guard against his hidden lotus , then kills a fatigued lee without effort. Chakra shield is on par with sand shield.

Same goes for Neji. Don’t think any of them can keep up with Lee’s speed. Gaara was getting speed blitz by Lee and yet Naruto was only keeping up with Gaara. Even Guy stated that Lee with that speed will be able to take down Neji….
@@loaderring98 Lee has shown no feats to suggest he can speed blitz past 2k clones without getting tagged and this alone wouldn’t destroy all of them. Even Sasuke with his sharingan was tagged against a small amount of clones much less lee against 2k.
If lee is in base he gets stomped by all those clones like Gaara did. if lee is in gates then I’m pretty sure he didn’t land 2k attacks against Gaara and he can’t get them all at once and would require multiple attacks to clear them.
He’d need to attack every clone and every attack would hurt him progressively while Naruto can simply use transformation jutsu to turn into a rocks if things go bad while Lee drains himself against the clones. Then Naruto can just surprise a fatigued lee who wasted all his movements fighting 2k clones. Naruto wins.
If Naruto uses the form used against Neji then he demolishes gated lee even worse since it’s basically a powered up version of the base Naruto who used 2k clones. His chakra can clash with a nerfed rotation which means that it can block Lee’s attacks and with clones all having chakra shrouds he stomps lee easily.
Kyubi chakra shroud Naruto demolishes him.
@@loaderring98 As for Neji. If u payed attention to context then u would’ve acknowledged that Gai made this statement regarding prelims Neji , not finals Neji.
Prelims Neji can’t physically outmaneuver hidden lotus , and he lacks a defense to counter it. This is exactly wat he gains in the finals. A defense above Gaara’s sand armor in the form of his chakra shield which is wat he does before rotation.
Lee’s hidden lotus speed is then rendered irrelevant since Neji simply needs to see him pose to open his gates then simply ready up to release a large amount of chakra to cocoon himself in response.
Neji’s byakugan alongside kakashi’s 3T was already shown keeping up with lee. So he can mentally react to gated lee, and with chakra shield he doesn’t need to physically keep up with lee to beat him.
So yes , Neji beats his ass in the finals. All he has to do is outlast lee then walk up to him and knock him out. Or simply ignore him since the battle would’ve already been won without Neji needing to attack him.

Yea Lee in base would be no match for Naruto but fifth gate Lee clearly shows that he’ll be able to out power and out speed those clones. Similar to how kimmimaro easily destroyed all of Narutos clones.
As I said , Lee would easily speed past those clones and clear them with little to no ease.
What feats does Nejis rotation have that makes u think it’ll be able to tank a hidden lotus lol . A hidden lotus was capable of destroying n speeding past gaaras sand defence. There’s no way at all nejis rotation will be able to stop hidden lotus from absolutely wrecking him .
KN1 Naruto demolishes Lee but Kyi I chakra shroud naruto lacks feats since it was only shown out powering nejis rotation and nejis rotation itself doesn’t have enough feats to say it can defend against a hidden lotus
