What using Pin Diode Switching to let you change bands.
It ended up mono band 40m with 2 capacitors on a colpitts oscillator. I would like to try pin diode band changing (like on my QRP LABS rigs). One day? 73 and TNXS FER the comment.
Has anyone tried building a SSB exciter using 74HC4053 chips that operate like a diode ring mixer like that pioneered by W7OZI, KK7B and W7PUA
@@DAVIDGREGORYKERR can’t say I have. Haven’t done an SSB rig yet. I have an Oz QRP SSB kit not yet built….
Two or three xtals in parallel will get you a wider swing (especially if you match them) G7VFY.
Thanks....I'll check the baggy for more! 73 and TNX FER the comment.
