Mac makes an excellent point, to succeed you have to literally make mistakes to learn from them then you can be a better person believe me I know this from plenty of personal experience.
Have l had someone in my life that I could not kick out of my life, yes I have, over thirty years ago, only if I stayed, a day torment, and they say you can't live in the past!!!
Well, the first time I saw it I asked myself why she told such a big LIE. I think in season 10 she didn´t admit that she still was in love with him. Hey, Mac. He was the only guy you couldn´t kick out of your life. I admired in this season how patient he was.
Lord that girl was annoying. Now I'm not saying some women don't get passed over or picked on for not being 'one of the guys' in this world....but that girl was acting like she was just looking for any excuse to get mad or yell 'unfair!".
all she said was that she didn't know what it was like to be in love before actually knowing the person. like this girls mom, and that's true. she didn't fall in love with harm instantly.
i don't agree. there was attraction in the beginning. the look he gives her in the rose garden is cause he thinks she looks exactly like Diane...and was a writers ploy so that catherine bell could play two separate characters on the same show. i think mac fell in love with him and new it way before he did. maybe when he decided to be loyal to her in the first two episodes. or that time they got lost with the airplane...definitely through the Russia ordeal. she was done in by the 2 or 3rd season. I also do think she was lying a lot to herself in the 10th season. cause she's very self deprecating character and was giving up on what she had felt for harm and then was choosing to be in denial here.
She's not lying, Mrs Cresswell was happy to become a traditional homemaker wife because of her love for Gordon Cresswell. One of the main reasons that Mac and Harm don't get together is that for both of them their careers are too important to them to give up. Please note I am not suggesting that Mac is at fault here, that she should have followed Mrs Cresswell's example.
"Have you ever loved anyone like that?"Yes, yes she does
Sometimes you don't say the truth even to yourself, you know...
