the Taiwanese made ones have no name or part numbers,
you just have to know what they look like.
but where can I find them
Wow!!
Is there a reason cast iron grills don't come with lids? I can't even find an aftermarket lid for my Lodge Sporting grill
Joseph Kool
You are right there never was a lid for the sportsman.
We use the shallow (3052) or deep (3060) fish fry pan turned upside-down.
These pans were made by BS&R to go with the grill but unfortunately they are no longer made you need to find one on EBay or such.
@@Joedy860Thanks
Where did/do you find these? Thank you.
Joseph Vilca
Hi Joseph
I find them on EBay, Craigslist, yard sales and through the Facebook cast iron groups including the one I mentioned at the end of the "part 2" video.
The 2 things you have to
remember - never stop looking and nobody us going to give something away for free, you are going to have to open your wallet, lol.
Joedy I ran into you video and saw the Century Birmingham Stove &Grill you have . We also have one and would like to contact you for questions.
Hi Mary Beth
Are you on Facebook ?
If you are then look up my group Cast iron grill and hibachi world
I run that group so I am on it constantly.
Besides myself there are others in the group who are grill fanatics.
You can also find me on messinger.
Just look up Joedy Hicks
My family has a Century Birmingham Stove and Range cast iron grill... The rear slider is on the outside though!
Cool.
I would live to see a picture of it.
Do you use your grill ??
Joedy860 yes... I will take a pic of it tomorrow and if you have facebook, I will private message it to you. It is in fantastic condition...
Joedy860 or email it or whatever...
I don't know how to send a picture to you of the grill...
Troy Vaughn
If you are on Facebook look up the group
Cast iron grill and hibachi world
That's the group I run, it's all about grills just like these and you can post pictures on there.
Beautiful Collection. I want to find a cast iron grill with legs like the Cue Grill. They do not make them this nice anymore.
Bart Karlson
Thank you. I think they stopped making the Cue-Grill because they weight about 70 lbs. and are really not that easy to move around. Nearly got a hernia moving all those grills around. Lol.
Hi Joedy, I would like to find one. I love old things that are well made and this looks like something that could be used for another 100 years. Nothing on eBay right now. Do you know who might deal in things like this?
Bart Karlson
I think your best bet to find one is to go onto Facebook, join cast iron grill and hibachi world and as many other cast iron sites as you can stomach, let it be known that you are interested in buying one and you never know you may hit paydirt.
Thank you for the idea. Have yourself a great day.
I have a pot belly stove made by Columbus Ironworks.
I have an aluminum grill with a cast iron cook surface that I'm trying to find out some info on its origin. I'd like to contact you if you have an email to reach you by.
Fucken awesome!!
I want one
