He's an awesome dude. I talked to him while training with him and he had his mask off, him and Chavo, in mid 2009. They were just the chilliest guys. And there pretty funny when they talk to each other. You could totally sense a bromance there.

I think that Rey can't do his 100 % in WWE . I mean , his 2 last years in WWE was so weak , when he wasn't injuried , his fights was not interesting . But when i saw him in AAA i was like : man , he looks like 10 yrs younger ! He is a great high flyer again . This is why I want Rey to end his career in Lucha

My brother met him in Sydney Australia back in 2006, absolute humble guy, took the time to talk to everybody, very down to earth and seems very grateful, you dont get that with many celebrities

I love Rey i think he is truly Blessed he is honorable and has a loving family. A truly kind sole. Eddie, Rey, Chavo, Benoit, Kidman they were close as brothers and that often publicly unspoken bond they shared on and off the screen gave me such admiration for all of them.
Kinda wild sitting here in hindsight all these years later and knowing that rey has been able to work with his son in Wwe. That has to be such a cool thing to experience as a father.

Rey keeps doing shows here in Tijuana in 2017 18 despite being back with the WWE, it's cool he doesn't forget about his home town. I've crossed down from San Diego many times to see him perform.
