No B.S. , I met him a month ago at a WrestlePro event in NJ, and I swear we had a 5 minute conversation about Zelda and getting into the business. Such a nice dude and it felt like we were talking forever.

This interview foreshadows so much. Cody kept true to his word. He did get ROH to help among others but he took it a step further and decided to attempt change without a known company and forge his own path (with a little help from his friends.)
Cody is a much better man than most but he should of stuffed that promoter in the broom closest with blood dripping but still breathing normally...
compare him to how he is here and how he is in ring just shows how damn good he is that he can get over so much as a heel and be such a nice, easy going guy in an interview like this would be great to have a drink with listening to him talk about stories of industry etc.
I debate which Cody I prefer the heel or face

Cody Rhodes is a great pro wrestling performer and promoter. He started All Elite Wrestling alongside The Young Bucks and Tony Khan because there are certain groups of pro wrestling fans who want more competition other than WWE's brand of sports entertainment.

Unfortunately that is true. Of that fanbase... I don't know how many know that Cody is wrestling. Then again I don't know what type of people watch wrestling nowdays with the rating drops. Are they all smarks or how many of them are casuals?

WWE has all the money, and production as the biggest wrestling company but the creative team is completely clueless (VINCE MCMAHON) they don't know how to use people. Look at Drew Galloway for example he left and had a better career and now they bring him back to capitalize on his popularity that he had to create himself
The weird ridges on Sam's forehead distracted the crap out of me. Kept thinking of Londo from Babylon 5
the fact that he's not SIGNED to ROH in my opinion makes him a REAL world champion (in the old school sense) which is really cool to me

NBC owns USA Network, which hosts what wrestling show on monday nights now? only in this wrestling world, but whose to say an olive branch wasn't extended, cody turned it down, and WWE got a hold of NBC to say, yo detain the boy rhodes there at the door, make it difficult for him so he will want to come back to us in wwe. Its not as ridiculous a theory as it should be for a small rib like that.
