How to Use Tulip Instant Fabric Spray Paint - Product Review

- In this video I'm sharing the tips I learned using Tulip Color Shot Instant Fabric Spray Paint for a DIY project.
Tulip Fabric spray paint is the best fabric spray paint I've used. It will work wonders on outdoor cushions, outdoor umbrellas and on indoor fabric covered items like the pouf/foot stool I'm spray painting in my review video.
The features and benefits I found to be the most attractive are: very low to no smell, great saturation, drys quick and has a natural not sticky feel once its dry.
I used four 3oz cans of Tulip black fabric spray paint and you can tell in the video that the color is a true black once it dries.
MUST HAVE SPRAY PAINT
Here's some links to grab a few cans in the color you need:

2. Multicolor 6 pack - amzn.to/2SsgAdm

I looked up this because I wanted to see what other people are using this spray dye for. I use it to restore my black hats when they start fading and its a darker more vibrant black than the hat is new and looks a lot better.
That’s wonderful!
I’m going to try this on my color block shower curtain

I want to paint my living room couches they’re ivory color but I really want them black you think I can use this paint on it? Is regular fabric ☺️
It might work. Depending on the fabric you may be able to do it. Google and read the FAQ's for this product to gain more information. Good luck!
I want to try this on my daughters upholstered bed, but I wouldn’t be able to do it outside. Was there a lot of fumes and overspray in the air like regular spray paint can be?
Yes there were. It is spray paint after all, so there's no way to realistically contain the over spray.

I have white arms hoodie I want to change to black color, will it work , thanks 😊
I think this works best on upholstery not something you'll wear. Consider dying a hoodie.
Hello there amazing video . If I dye my shirt and wash it will it damage the paint ?
Hey there, thanks for watching my videos! Technically the spray pain isn't a dye. It doesn't dye the fibers. Here's what I learned from the FAQ's: If the garment or fabric can be machine washed, turn inside out and use warm water on gentle cycle with a mild detergent and fabric softener in a warm rinse. Cold water may cause fabric paint to crack. Line dry.

Got a question , was it a solid black or was there noticeable blotches or darker spots ??
It was solid black. I sprayed it to an even black with no splotches
What if your dying a lighter color on top of the black ? Would that work am trying to salvage my double stroller
It might work. However, it may take an extra can or two to get the saturation you need
Thank you !!
I need this in white.. and I'm in Canada Ontario
You can check their website for availability.
I am wanting to do my dinner table chairs. Any idea if this will transfer to your clothes? That is a big concern of mine.
After a year, the paint is solid and doesn't transfer from one fabric to another. I suggest you google FAQ's for Tulip Fabric Paint to double check. Thanks for watching!

Not sure. It may be the material of your pillows. Tulip does have a FAQ page. Google it to find it

Did the paint make the fabric harder?? Or did it still have the same texture
No it didn’t make it harder. This was a cotton/poly blend fabric so the paint was able to absorb well. On a poly only piece I had to use multiple light coats drying in between each coat to get a nice coverage. I guess because the poly fabric isn’t as absorbent as the cotton. Great question!

do you need to spray any finish? Does it bleed? Did you need to wash it after it’s dry?
No I didn’t spray a finish. No bleeding. No washing. It also repels water after a few weeks of dry time. Not that it’s completely water resistant, but the water beaded up on the surface versus soaking in immediately.
