- Welcome to our FlossTube channel. It’s Jenny and Nancy and we are the Bougie Stitchers. We are two sisters who took up cross stitching in 2020. We share our stitches, stories and quilts (if we remember). It’s a snowy day and we are connecting using Zoom. Connection within our community is important. We appreciate the time you spend with us. Please keep doing your FlossTube videos. I love the way you two go back and forth between each other and are so supportive. Jenny, I watched Annie, The Proper Stitcher this afternoon and she was so appreciative of your model stitching her Spring Sampler for market. It’s beautiful. What a good friend and a wonderful example of showing kindness. Both of you are so positive. Have a wonderful time at your retreat. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it.

I love watching you ladies. I have been watching you for a while. I love how you banter with each other! My favorite part of your videos is Moment of Gratitude. In today's world of everyone being out for themselves and lots of negativity, it's so nice to remember what you're grateful for.
Please keep your videos coming, I love listening to you both: inspiration, laughter, and, energy. I’m from MN and all of the family have a car quilt, you never know when/if you land in the ditch and need to stay warm. My kids are fully grown now with their own families, and yes, they all have car quilts. They are used in the summer for sitting on during parades or for having picnics on a lawn in the parks.

Please don’t stop your videos. There are always people who are quick to criticise but not to praise. The word Thankyou can can be under used, but I want to say Thankyou for all that the both of you do.

Love your videos! I'm originally from FL and my favorite thing to do was to wake up on the West coast and watch the sunrise at the beach then drive over to the East coast and watch the sunset at the beach all in the same day! Such a cool and unique experience.

It’s so easy to say “ignore the haters”, however, this is our heart’s work we are putting out there! I agree with the other comments, don't stop doing flosstube. Of course if it becomes to be too much and your heart isn't in it then you do what is best for you, but I love watching your videos and hearing what you ladies have been up to. Have fun in Florida!

Y'all are doing a great job and I always have a good time watching your videos! I'm having a slow stitching start this year. I'm hoping to get back in the groove of things in March. I think a car quilt is a great idea. I carry a fleece blanket in mine. Have a great retreat girls!
Like you I prefer to make my own project bags….i think quilters often have a plethora of cottons that work and need to be used. It is a challenge for some flosstubers to watch someone get 1000 subscribers after two videos while they work to have only a few. I am grateful for my corner of the internet and hope to continue to grow. Thank you for the smiles…I will now check out your suggested flosstuber.

Oh wow I am so jealous of you two. I would love to go to a retreat. I wasn’t home when signup for Stitch West occurred. I wanted to go so badly. I have never been to a retreat for stitching. I’ve only been to a craft retreat once and once to a quilt retreat.
I’m not in any clubs at this time. I was in Fat Quarter Shops - stitch quarterly. I have finished another quilt top nothing has been quilted. We took my quilt machine apart as we are getting ready to move to S Dakota our place down there was supposed to be finished two years ago last month. We are still waiting. But are in high hopes it will be finished soon.
I also have another top that will be finished as a top tomorrow.
Deb H. Is having a SAL for us to pull a pattern we purchased last year from market but haven’t started yet. I pulled Autumn Cloche I don’t know if I bought it last year or the year before but that is one I dug out.
My 24 for this year is all WIPS. I have finally really made progress on Lady of the Flag. You ladies have a blast at your retreats. I loved Harry Potter world at Universal. The butter beer is so good but will put you on a major sugar high.

Good morning ladies, I just love your videos and look forward to seeing them. Thank you so much for sharing your projects and kindness. Jenn I loved hearing about the people talking to you about your stitching at the swim meet. When I am in Tampa visiting I go to my grandson karate practice and other people will randomly start talking to me about the project. It is kinda neat to share my hobby. The cutest one was when a young girl on a break from who practice came up to see what I was stitching. She told as she was leaving that when she is older and a grandma I want stitch like me. I thought it was so sweet and it reminded me how easy young people can be influenced and what a wonderful hobby we have to share with others. Enjoy your retreat and is raining today but will clear up before you travel. Have a blessed day.
