No one owns their home. Taxes are a scam. They use taxes on other things and not for the benefit of the people, eg. Roads, homeless , mental health services , and hospitals. But one thing for sure it isn't going on the people who keep the country and state running. It's the people who keep the economy running. I wouldn't say the politicians.
Thank you I work in mortgage for 15 years and I try to tell people this. You don’t own your home once you pay that mortgage off we still have taxes to pay and well the town lets the bank know and we come out as well to assist the property as well. Escrow it’s called. Due not your taxes can go up and down. Also people can slap liens on your home and those have to be paid before you can even sell your home. I have worked on so many cases were child support wasn’t paid and a lien was slap on the home for that. The person new wife was pissed off
