As both a Melody and an EXO-L, I definitely ranked the 2 groups as top 2 of the vocal-centric groups 👌
I’m glad more people are getting to know BTOB. They’re super talented and really one of the best groups when it comes to vocals. It took them 3 years and 7 months after debut to get their first ever music show win, and have found more success when they shifted to singing more ballads than dance music. And for additional trivia, Hyungsik (white shirt and tie) is a good friend of EXO’s D.O. and they sang together in high school. When he first transferred to their school, he asked around as to who the best singer in school was and got directed to D.O., so he made it his mission to befriend him. 😊

Oh, thank you for reacting to this..been waiting for it so bad and I'm so glad you liked it. Yes, these guys are all gifted vocally and this is such a lucky group to have these amazing singers. Originally had 7 members but the main rapper had to leave the group in 2020 so they are just 6 now. The rapper who made a mistake and forgot some lines in fact was rapping the part of the member who left the group so I believe it's understandable if he forgot some words..it's not even his rap part in the 1st place..and that song was a 2013 song of theirs, a bit long ago. To help you know them individually..this is from left to right:
guy#1 (Minhyuk): main rapper, also vocalist, songwriter/composer/producer, athlete, actor
guy#2 (Sungjae): lead vocalist, actor, maknae of the group

It was great to hear the parts that caught your attention the most. I agree with "power" and "charismatic." The harmonies and live vocals in concert that many times sound better than the studio version are the parts that get me the most. More BTOB, please! I suggest the Ilhoon Squad guide (czcams.com/video/m_ALfu73kyE/video.html), "Wow," "Beep Beep" and the BTOB 4U sub-unit's Kingdom Legendary War (2021) stages. "Blue Moon (Cinema Version)" was the adaptation of one of BTOB's songs for that survival show. I think you will especially like their cover of Stray Kids' "Back Door," "Blue Moon" and all of the Mayfly collaboration stages.

Hands down my favorite killing voice! Almost all the songs were made by the members with the rappers writing their own parts (composition, songwriting, arrangement and even some of the instruments) They're so talented, funny and so so underrated internationally.

It is a shame that Dingo actually edited the video so you can't hear all the voices and adlibs so I'd recommend for you to watch the complete songs for this playlist they presented in killing voice.

If you would be up to, watch The MVs and then watch the live stages, at least one for each, as you can see our boys are part time comedians so a live stage will give you wonderful live performance (BTOB always sings live they can't lypsinc trust me) and hilarious adlibs during the choreo and endings😅

Lee Minhyuk - 2nd eldest, main rapper, main harmonizer, main fanservice provider, main stripper, known as Huta for his solo stuff, one of the songwriters/producers (Higher and Blue Moon are his), he's hot and he knows it, his singing and rapping voices are completely different. If you want to know what BTOB are supposed to be doing, look at Minhyuk. Is O._O when he's not with the other members and he leans heavily into the squirrel motif. He and Eunkwang are the girl group dance enthusiasts (and they fucking NAIL IT)
Yook Sungjae - vocal, forever spoiled maknae, the absolute sunlight of his hyungs' world, sometimes actor (Golden Spoon and Goblin are his 2 most famous roles), the prime weirdo of the group, is an old man at heart (his hobbies are fishing and golf), has the audacity to look like that and be absolutely insane. Loves 6 puns (Yook is also the Sino-Korean word for the number 6) and is an actual cat. It would not surprise me if he just randomly knocks things off tables. Also has a cat named Sami... her name is a math pun 3 (Sam) x 2 (I) = 6 (Yook). I told you he's absolutely insane.
Seo Eunkwang - (aka Silverlight when he wants lol) eldest, leader, main vocal, hits all those super high ad libs, has a catboy agenda on main, currently Weekly Idol host, musical actor, absolute crackhead, the mood maker, and in one of the very few smart decisions Cube has ever done, they made him a creative director at Cube. Would dead ass be the best freestyle rapper in Korea if he got serious about it for 5 seconds. I say freestyle bc this man cannot remember lyrics for shit and routinely makes up his own.
Lim Hyunsik - vocal, RANGE FOR FUCKING DAYS, the main producer and songwriter (everything aside from Minhyuk's, 2nd confession and It's Okay are his), is scary as fuck when he's in directing mode, mostly lazy according to the others, can play multiple instruments, has the most tattoos in the group (but most of them are small), and his father is actually a pretty famous folk singer. Is the legendary Pokemon of the group , rarely outside of the studio and when he is, he likes to go scuba diving and wants to go to space one day.
Lee Changsub - he's the lead vocal that would be a main except Eunkwang exists, intro/ending fairy, the emotional powerhouse puncher, dog dad (her name is Guri), gremlin laugh, coffee fanatic, musical actor, absolutely over the top facial expressions, famous for his voice cracks (which he finds amusing), currently becoming Korea's very cranky sweetheart from Jeongwaja (Changing Majors - it's a YT variety show on ootb studios) and I Live Alone, has the biggest tattoos in the group (all 3 of them), cleans up *damn* nice when he wants to. Has been besties with Eunkwang since high school, and is also besties with Key from SHINee and Solar from Mamamoo.
Peniel Shin - lead rapper, main dancer (via roulette wheel), CHI TOWN BOI (so yes native English speaker from being American), pls save him, can translate "BTOB" into English and Korean, is just vibes (and good ones at that), raunchiest lyrics in the group, the man fucks and is not shy about it, goes with the flow and is super laid back. Has stress induced hair loss so half the time he'll shave his head. Looks good with and without hair. Absolutely filthy mouth but is a good Jesus boy and will not take the Lord's name in vain and all the other members have picked up his OHMYGAWSH. Always acts standoffish and uncaring... but he's always there supporting the other members in their solo stuff, showing up with food at MV shoots, promotes the other members and the group in a low key way.
As a group... keep your hand on the volume controls and be prepared to laugh. Absolutely batshit insane and insanely talented. Originally supposed to be a band project... then an acapella project and then an acrobatics group... and they debuted as a dance group. In 2012. Actual family at this point (do not take their "business partners only" jokes seriously) and good luck in finding a 4th gen group that Eunkwang and/or Minhyuk have not adopted yet.
i highly recommend watching their live performances it was always a top notch like their kingdom peromances
