G, day Capt Emilie, from Sydney, Australia. Thank you for your simulation presentation of the Cessna Grand Caravan (C-GSCR).
Also thank you to Kevin for I.T logistic support.
+ the audio recording device problem did add to the standard system and pilot.
+ moreover, it was nice just 'flying above the full cloud cover' when ATC transmission of "JOHN WAYNE" airport. My thoughts were " let's keep this tidy, as if we were watched by the "DUKE".

At 16:20 the refresh rate of the onboard display is low. This is due to a new setting in MSFS2020 that came with last patch. If you want it to refresh more frequently sop it is smoother go to General Options, Visual, Glass cockpit refresh rate. Change from Medium to High. It has a small FPS penalty, but it inproves your control substantially.

I would feel safe flying with you any time Emilie I realize this isn't a Dash 8 but I think it could keep your skill set on line for you if you can tutor you can pilot. You adapt to things very well. Thank you for sharing your flight lesson today with us. Ed in the US in Virginia.

So now we have a world of business travellers that dont get to travel anywhere because of corona watching youtube videos of professional pilots and air traffic controllers that dont get to work because of corona? 2020 is a strange year.

Such a great channel you have. Really enjoying seeing you learn about flight simming (something I’ve been doing for 30+ years) whilst being amazing at teaching us all real world procedures . My tip to you: Currently a lot of the G1000 is buggy or broken, so learn how the MSFS G1000 works rather than real G1000. Currently, they are not the same.

Wow. Gave me a lot to read up on. I'm working on re-learning everything I've forgotten over the past 25 years since I was last flying. I've been tooling around in the Cessna 172 and Diamond DA62 and trying to get things right has been demanding and somewhat confusing.
I know I'm a year late to this video, but great job on it.

I love how you try to do everything by the book as much as possible within the confines of the sim. Good practice to stay in "reality mode" for the time when you will be up in the air for real again.
I very much look forward to this sim evolving over time and things like proper turbo-prop engine simulation to get either implemented as a core feature or 3rd Party developers cracking that nut.
I'd love to see an ATR in the future. That thing was so much fun to fly back in FSX. And of course Majestic's Dash 8 being one day made available when the SDK is evolved enough.
It would probably be right up your alley, considering that you are rated on it in real life and it is available in full study level. But that is still very much in the distant future, I'm afraid.
