Surprise inside! Rebadged MPC Kit?

This is a new project that, once I dove into it, has allot more parts than
they mention on the box - Bonus!
So I started to research it, and it seems to be a rebadged MPC kit.
The nose has been changed, but other than that, it seems the same.
I dont have a 72 or 73 MPC kit to verify, so I'm turning to the community.
What do you all think?

Nice mustang kit.. I seen your hosting the madmax GB iv not got many kits i think was featured in any of mad max movies apart from bikes from part 1 and was thinking using sprint car kit as like one of the buggy style vehicles they used in all the older Mel Gibson madmax movies so maybe I can 3D print out couple of parts to make it work look cool but ill see what I can get finished iv got on bench .I'll try come up with something ill use whatever off sprint car kit i can like chassis and use other bits then so I went ahead subbed to u taut id already was but I wasn't for some reason I mite of forgotten to but iv gone ahead done it now so look out for entry on that GB in hoping I can post a entry next week latest ok thanks cool model topic of build to go with ,,👍Keith

@@modelrestorations yea I notice it more on the remake kits some kits also have parts on parts tree that are not even on instructions

Reissue is very plausible. From what i understand, they rebrand many kits.
