Thanks Gideon!
This literally answered all my questions for Stuttgart! We arrive by train from Frankfurt. Wasn't sure where to stay but city center is perfect! And then our main attraction is the MB museum, so you even told me what stop im going to. Thank You!!! Did you happen to also do this in Berlin? Would love to see that!!đ
Thanks Suzy! Haven't done Berlin yet
ty đ€©đ
You didn't go to the Rosensteinpark, Wilhelma, Schloss Solitude, Neues Schloss, Altes Schloss and Fernsehturm...
+naturepics 22 I'll check them out next time!
@Patrick Finley ok
Not Matahari or Drei Farben Haus.
@Patrick Finley ahah I studies one year there but really just go back for Wasen
@@Papivors Wasen oh yes, full of life. Lovely funfair. Used to go every year.
Just returned and what a lovely place it is. We've been to Hamburg, Berling, Cologne and Frankfurt but Stuttgart is our favourite. We stopped right in the city centre and it was a delight to walk around exploring the place. It's so clean too, you'll be surprised. Highly recommend you visit this wonderful city, especially if you're a petrol head due to Mercedes and Porsche museums. Great video, very informative.
+AhhMishMoneypenny Thanks! Glad you enjoyed Stuttgart and the video!
good city
+Sudhindra R It sure is!
I am hopefully going to live in this city. I did visit it many times before and fell so in love with it! I truly cant wait! Any tips for some starting English jobs here? I'm Dutch so my Germany is perfect in understanding and oke in speaking.
Hi Seeb! Good luck! The job market isn't my expertise in Stuttgart.. but maybe someone else there watching this video has some tips!
Good City
It sure is!
All German citys are great
A bit of nerdy trivia, the Mercedes "star" is actually a propeller that is not moving. And the BMW logo is light shining on a moving propeller. Both companies started out as the same company making airplane engines, hence the logos!
Its not what a bullshit
"Stootgarrrrt" lol
Nice Video ;)
Thanks Jafama!
+Yellow Productions :D Yellow
I love Stuttgart but the ticket machines are complicated. Donât miss the Mineralbad Cannstatt, an awesome swimming pool.
I'll check out that pool next time! Thanks for the tip!
As a local from Stuttgart, I like your video, but you missed on some important locations in Stuttgart, e.g the new Europaviertel or the historical downtown. Great job although ;)
okehjaha Thanks for the tips!
so the train transportation is quite expensive?
Miss u Stuttgart
Stuttgart misses you too :)
Museum fantastic visit senior 5 euros tour everythings inside restaurant c..
Hi Chris, this video is awesome! Have you visited Bad Cannstatt, a district in Stuttgart? The most beautiful buildings of the city are located there, in my opinion, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. :)
I don't think I had a chance to visit Bad Cannstatt. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Stuttgart. Thanks for the tip!
Duisburg city video please
How would you rate "livability" in Europe (German) cities vs American? Also, I have a feeling OC girl was absent on this trip?
TVShinjuku Nice detective work! Ocgirl was absent on this trip... did all of the selfie shots give it away? :)
On the "livability" scale, the most notable thing that always gets me about European cities is how almost all stores are closed on Sundays. So that's probably good for the employees, but definitely less convenient for the average person. I think American cities have more "convenience" -- 24 hour Wal-Marts, etc. But European cities are generally more "walkable" and mass-transit oriented than American cities.
Stuttgart! What a beautiful place. I was there during the World Schools Debate Competitions 2016. Stayed at the Maritim hotel. Attended the Frank Sinatra concert. Visited the town Constancia and boating in the lake. Had a wonderful time. Will visit the place next summer holidays.
May I ask why you have chosen Stuttgart for traveling? I am seriously interested in this city and evaluating maybe moving there one day, but still making some research. Therefore i am asking , why Stuttgart for you?
Especially I wonder about its climate...
Hi MK -- I wanted to checkout all the car museums
Wer kommt auch alles aus Stuttgart?đđ
So basically I am guessing not much to see in Stuttgart in terms of history...anyway, I've been to the BMW museum so I will pop in to the Mercedes and Porsche Museums too!
KönigstraĂe is in english King street
Great place for post lock down riots, highly recommended!!đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Do you recommend it for a honeymoon tho? My husband is dying to book our first newlyweds trip to it
@@theseezy7107 Oh I totally don't. I live here and it is the last place on earth I would go to for my honeymoon. I mean if your husband wants to see it make a small trip to Stuttgart. 3 days should be enough. But it's the least romatic destination I can imagine.
there is no Italian translation?
+Giuseppe Teodoro Grasso Sorry Giuseppe!
I'm from stuttgart
+Marcel Pendzialek neat!
Drogenbaron đđ€pls take me go in ur city
Where is your favourite destination?
He ate which is similar to Roll of Kolkata
cek the cikunir city
I take U6 everyday to work and back home..lol
Ubahn and Sbahn are both free. Its a conductor system. But they are so rare. My friend made it five years before seeing one. Pull the old.... Oh im a tourist I didn't realise and you'll get away with it for your holiday
And as soon as everyone does that... they'll lock down all the entrances like the DC Metro... jack up the cost to pay for extra security and just make it miserable. Please pay for your ticket. The honor system is what makes this country so great! Don't be cheap - pay your way.
ich wohne hier in stuttgart
Abdirashid Ali too
Come to Hamburg, is the best City of Germany :)
Next time I'm in the area I will :)
Yellow Productions Oh yes đ de have so many beautiful places
Yeah, 4 Euros for a soft drink unfortunately isn't unusual in Germany.
I think the money they are charging for drinks and beverages is ridiculous. It even sometimes seems as if restaurants are luring in people with cheap food, only to skin them with overpriced stuff to drink. For what a cup of Coke costs at a McDonalds restaurant in Germany, you could get a whole gallon of Coke at the next supermarket. I think that is also why they don't offer free water in restaurants in Germany and why free refills are pretty much unheard of.
The only place I know in Germany where you can get free refills, are the restaurants in IKEA stores and even they half ass it, by deliberately making their soft drink fountains spit so much foam that filling your cup or glass becomes such a annoying, tedious and messy chore, that hardly anybody gets a refill.
Of course I can't prove that my little conspiracy theory is true and that they really make the fountains create foam on purpose, but I think it is pretty obvious. I have never seen any other such fountain produce anywhere near as much foam.
Ikea fountains in the USA are the same way! :)
@@YellowProductions Yeah? That is surprising.
Just go to Aldi or grocery store get some water/booze etc for regular food. Germans are very precise you pay for 500 ML of beer or exactly the water you order. BierGardens or other places like that tend to have better deals on food/beer than some of the touristy traps you go to
Kebap was found by a turkish guy in Berlin, so in some way it is german food :)
Cool.. Didn't know that. Might explain why there is so much of it in Germany :)
yes, especially in Berlin ;)
+DiiopicZ bei uns in stuttgart genauso ĂŒberall;)
Ich komm auch aus Stuttgart diggi :D In Cannstatt is es krass haha
+DiiopicZ haha ja die hats an jeder Ecke :D
Wasn't the VW Bug also co-designed by Hitler?
:)
3:30 Herrenberg \(*-*)/
SSB beste ;)
Nice video - but Porsche is a 2 syllable word!
Thanks... Noted on the pronunciation :)
What she means is there is no "silent e" at the end of a German word - you actually pronounce as a "soft/long a" depending on where in the country you're from; Poor-shay is typical, some may say Poor-shu.
Hi....is it ok to rent a car and move around ?? is parking free at the city center?? i dont like train travel..ur response will be helpful...
parking is considered expensive in stuttgart you can easily calculate 6-8 euros, maybe youre fine with that. you could also use the car2go smart cars provided by daimler instead of renting, so you can enjoy free parking almost in the entire city
my ancestors came from Stuttgart :/
+Drastic gem0 so why are you sad that your ancestors came from stuttgrat ?
