Whether it's reporting on conflicts abroad and political divisions at home, or covering the latest style trends and scientific developments, New York Times video journalists provide a revealing and unforgettable view of the world. It's all the news that's fit to watch.
So we made a full circle back to infomercials?
basically yes, but we can interact with the watcher. i was a tiktok live host selling clothes and electronic and we show, try on, explained the product that the viewers want us to show by request they sent on the comment
Wait, this has been on TV for decades lol
Lmao literally. Like they invented the wheel or something. 🙄🤯
leave it to zoomies to think they invented QVC
It's quickfire QVC, but it works for me. I've brought a lot of stuff after seeing it on Tiktok, although not in this livestream format where the influencer talks like an auctioneer. Most of stuff I brought are homeware, after seeing how they work in shorts.
You can not actually communicate with the person who is advertising things on TV though😂
@@AnastasiaYang-sl6lv yep, you can call into QVC and HSN
Ehhh, this is just QVC for Gen Z 🤷
People need to spend less time on this social media garbage and more time reading books.
...as you post your opinion to a social media site
@@YaBoySL the difference being this is a NYT channel and not some random person saying unsubstantiated claims
Just a modern QVC. Garbage.
Stop encouraging consumerism crap like this.
yes, it's mostly crap but people want to buy crap anyways and it's what makes our economy strong
the world is ending anyways and i need to eat!
True, I remember an article once that compared this with what the British did to the Chinese with opium. Western societies are addicted to these cheap Chinese products and apps, while the Chinese kids are protected with a lot of restrictions and a more educational version of tiktok.
@@mluu510 true but some of them are plain stupid but yeah mostly true
@@houseplant1016All the entertainment apps in China have restrictions for children who were under 16 or 18(minority). The restrictions depend on a country’s policy. UK and US do not have such kinds of policies for teenagers, that’s why Tiktok did not run the same way in UK or US as it did in China. I am not arguing anything but telling the facts.
So its basically online QVC and HSN?
Yep, it’s official. I hate everything.
Raquinho is getting his own trading card now. There's always other stuff to love...and plenty to hate
until we drown in our own garbage. happy birthday human.
I'm so happy to see many others who are disgusted by this in the comments.
I feel so disgusted...
Thanks, I hate it.
I see everyone, everywhere scrolling and scrolling on there... it's like an addiction. I still don't know what that social media site is all about. Makes no sense to me.
nothing about this is good
TikTok is cancer
This is why meta and other apps wanted to get control of tik tok lol😂
$25/hr? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
they dont live for 8 hours/day though, probably just 4-6 hours
QVC for gen Z 😂
These sellers are so loud, yeesh
Way late people lolol
TikTok turns everything it touches to narcissistic idiocy.
So uh, TSC, anyone?
So... infomercial on a smartphone instead of a TV. Nothing new.
We (Bangladeshi) students are currently peacefully protesting against quota, but Student League an organization of the government ambushed us.Nearly two hundred people were injured and many were killed in the attack. At this time we need you very much because the journalists of our country are on the side of the government. They have no news on this issue. They have not promoting about on this issue.Seeking freedom has now become a crime for us.

People will do ANYTHING for money,BUT work, they're so funny 😂😂😂
This is work, though? Not something i would necessarily do myself, but it's still work 🤷🏻♀️
So "innovative"
QVC reboot
Trick tok.
The irony in the last females realization that without Chinese data harvesting....she has no skillset to make money!
We live in a sad world... consumerism and capitalism have ruined us?
Gross
This is big money and George Banner the live streamer
Of course, this is what we need… Even more consumption, especially cheap and bad quality knickknacks made by modern slaves. Incredibly sad.
No wonder nyt is in decline 😂
QVC on steroids. No thanks!
