The way they made that distortion sound is incredible. That is what was so unique about this album Pisces Iscariot and Gish. I Would’ve loved to seen this show. I was born 7/24/77 so I would’ve just turned 16 and started getting in too much better music and rock ‘n’ roll. I was just kind of getting out of my small rap phase of that era. I grew up with older brothers. I was the youngest by 17 years if you can believe that, I was a surprise for sure, but having much older brothers and hearing them listening to Zepplin, the who,Pink Floyd Rush, etc but never the Smashing Pumpkins because they were way past this generation,not that they didn’t like them or hear of them. I remember dropping acid and listening to this album and this was such a fun great album to trip to with being 16 17 18 not having a care in the world yet. Acid was a lot of fun and mushrooms as well but like I said once I hit 16 that was the start of my stoner/hippie phase so to speak. Then I saw these guys live during their melon collie tour when it came to Baltimore Md I’m pretty sure that show was at US air Arena. They had two back to back shows and lucky enough I caught the first one and that’s when one of their stand musician died of a heroin overdose after the show. Right around that time, Jimmy Chamberlin was really getting into heroin, pretty heavy, and I think after melancholy, he was fired for a short while. But I remember they canceled part of that tour or the whole thing. And then of course a lot of pisces Iscariot was side B’s to Siamese dream. But it was a smart move because they got a whole other album out of it. Got into Gish after this album. But yeah man I would’ve loved to seen this show!!!! after mellon collie it just started getting a little different for me as they evolved but I would’ve loved to seen the Siamese Dream tour. I’m sure all of guys will never forget this show. ❤️✌🏻.
