Chicken Potato Soup Video 1

- 2 to 3 large chicken breast
water to cover chicken
4 large potatoes. peeled and cubed
3 to 4 cloves of minced garlic
1 onion, chopped
8 cups of water
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder
12 oz. bag of frozen mixed vegetables
2 (10.5 oz each) cream of soup, any kind
1 cup of real bacon bits
salt &pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons onion butter seasoning(Fire & Smoke Society)
1 teaspoon paprika
Garnishes:
shredded cheddar cheese
sour cream
dried chives or fresh chives(finely chopped)
In a large soup kettle put chicken breast in, and cover with some cold water ,just enough to cover the chicken. Over high heat bring to a boil on stove, then low to medium, and let chicken breasts simmer and cook till done.
Once chicken is done remove chicken to a bowl and let cool then shredded it up, make sure you save the water you cooked the chicken in, cause you need it for the soup.
Now using the same kettle add all ingredients, plus shredded chicken to the save chciken broth water.
Just don't add the cheddar cheese or sour cream and chives those are garnishes to serve your soup with when you serve it.
Let soup cook on medium heat till potatoes and onions are tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Now ladle some some up into a bowl, garnishing with some shredded cheddar cheese, dollup of sour cream, and sprinkle of chives, and enjoy.

Canned soup has a very high sodium content and along with bouillon which you mentioned I wouldn’t add table salt also.

I make alot of soup and there is no need to add can soup make a Rue with milk and add it. Then you don't have all that yucky stuff that's in can soup.❤
