I am following your video tutorial step by step and doing what you do on my site as a sample. I have tried Elementor, Wix, and more themes than I can count. Spectra paired with Astra is better than all the others I have tried and struggled with and once I have the mechanics down, I can create whatever theme I want to or use one of their themes and refine it and it's all free. Your video is over 3 hours and must have taken you many more weeks to create and I want to extend my thanks. Your explanation of the step-by-step way to do this is missing from many videos made by others and there is no quick and easy way to learn how to make a website. Since you put in many hours to create the video I can spend the same to create a website on my own.

In case if you do not want to start from scratch then you can start with starter template from here riadmahmud.com/ref/starter-templates There will be a pro version very soon for the spectra that comes with a lot of features. I'll create video based on it very soon. And yes I put a lot of efforts for making this video. Also, there are some other projects on this channel that I have created for beginners. All of them from scratch so that you can learn how it works. Generally, creating a website and make it fully functional it takes time from weeks to months. However, I'll try my best to share more in-depth tutorial in the future.

While I did have some experience it wasn't enough to refine a stock theme and I put building a website on the back burner because the task was daunting. I almost passed on your video because of the length. But. like everything in life, if you want to learn something well, you have to put in the time. There are no shortcuts. When I am at the point where I can manipulate where things are placed and what is in the containers, etc. then I will start to buy ready-made templates and your site will be my first choice.

A basic run-through of how to place and play around with the details and styles of all the Spectra blocks. While the video is made to be simple & followable by someone new, it's also helpful for someone familiar with wordpress & block-editing already. I've decided to use Spectra for a project, and spending 3 hours watching this video saved me weeks of slowly discovering a lot of the features while I picked up & used the blocks.

Riad!! Excelent tutorial! I found that the highlight setting on a heading block problem is not a bug. There is a brush icon next to the style icon. That is the highlight option that respond to the settings.

Hey thanks for asking! I am not sure exactly what kind of image section do you want. But if you want to add image inside a radio button or checkbox, then it's not available right now. Maybe it will be available in the future or so!
If you are comfortable with Gutenberg then I highly recommend you to move into the Gutenberg it's far better than any other page builder and very easy to use.

I don't have the gear icon 15:25, and I don't have any controls to modify a container (for example, changing the background). Very frustrating. Astra Pro & Spectra Pro.
@@RiadMahmud Thanks for the response. It was the [ ]] symbol (settings) in the top ribbon. I had to just click around for a long while to find it. I have had great difficulty with this tool on very small items. For example, I have a info box, with text, floating over a larger background image. You would think, highlight block, go to style, change background color. Nope. No such option, on a very basic setting. I am forced to make a column first, and then color the column. Same container, I have a smaller image next to the text box. Try as I might, adjusting every adjustment I can see, opening multiple windows, I cannot SIMPLY GET THE IMAGE TO LINE UP WITH THE TEXT BOX. Removed container and tried from scratch. Here's an even simpler one. No excuse. Placed 3 part column. Desire it to be shorter. Go to column settings, and all that exists is an adjustment for width. No height. Am I part of an elaborate prank? I will probably switch back to Elementor. I just don't have the time for the struggle that is this editor.
i am getting better and better at gutenberg with spectra. But got an issue i cant figure out. I want to have 2 columns next to each other which is easy. But the second column on the right it has 2 background images below each other with heading, text and a cta button on each of the bacckground images. But for some reason i cant get this to work. How could i fix this?
On the second column take two cover block, or you can take two column then change the flex direction t to column for the second column and see how it works!
Great content, in spectra, there is a Slider function, but i cannot create the slider to be in Full Width, Slider with different Background images. Hope you can make a video how to do it.. Thanks

Regarding the issue you're facing with changes not reflecting when you open the page in a new browser or in Google, it might be related to caching and fetching the data by Google Bot. In most cases, Google Bot takes some time to fetch the new update on the search result and I assume that's the reason behind this. You can re-submit the crawler request for an individual page from Google Search Console area. I hope this helps! I used to love spectra until the plugin started acting up. It occasionally stops the CSS. Fonts and spacings are all over the place until I click update on the page. I looked for answers in the community and it turns out that spectra is the culprit and a lot of people are having issues with it
Help! I'm new at this and have been trying to make a website on Astra with Spectra. My work page looks great. The desk top, tablet, and mobile mode are all as I want them. Then I preview, view site, google site, view on incognito, and ALL places show my page with everything squished small in one long column on the left edge. All the the containers that held 3 columns were broken. No matter what I try, I can't fix this. btw...I know nothing about codes. I did clear cache, many times. What am I doing wrong? Can you help?
Could you please regenerate assets from the Dashboard > Spectra > Settings > Assets Generation tab > Disable File generation (if it's enable) and click Regenerate Assets. I hope it will resolve your issue.

I have used spectra addons in block base themes but most of the widgets are not working perfectly. In all videos i see there spectra is working but not in my theme, such as bricksy theme
@@RiadMahmud Thanks for replying. Actually, I am struggling with Gutenberg. I have used kadence, spectra, generate blocks, genesis blocks but the plugin's container and row widgets is not working. I am setting two columns, or three columns within a container with 1140px width. In editor, all is looking good but when I am seeing my site, then it's showing all is broken. the container didn't get the width, and columns didn't get the alignments, and flex-basis/ width also. columns are showing like they are outside of the container. contact form is not working also and many widgets are not working.
It depends on your requirements. If you want to use Kadence it has great container and row features that will help you to add padding margin using drag and drop from editor. On the other hand kadence has very few blocks and Spectra comes with a lot of blocks that will help you in many ways to build a fully functional website. And Spectra comes a lot of pre-made templates.
Thanks very much. Question: Can we create similar Spectra pre-builded blocks with Kadence Layout System? I checked Spectra blocks and there are super easy to create in Kadence Block. I want to buy lifetime license and In kadence there are some pros: -Child Theme Builder is awesome so you can sell site designs! You can create a site an can sell its demos to everyone. This is so cool - In Kadence pro block, you can edit a page in different ways for mobile, pc or tablet independently. For example there is one structure (big box) that has 2 boxes. I can show this in vertically 1-2 numbered boxes in PC and i can change the seen numbered order for phone 2-1 etc!. This is not in any plugins out of Kadence Pro Block! Astra has Convert Pro and Kadence has Form block so they are same i think! Astra has Spectra Pro Kadence has kadence Pro block Astra has schema Pro is a good plugin but you can add a schema manually to a topic by html (you can create a schema throug Schema Generators! What do you think if you wat to buy a lifetime license Which one do you prefer? Kadence or Astra? In Black Friday i think each theme will be 500 550 dollars! @@RiadMahmud

How about a setting to change the width of the info box? How can I insert a custom value to adjust the width and height of the info box?
You can add the info box inside container, then adjust the width of the container. There is no option to adjust the width inside infobox.

When I want to create a new page. The image disappears. And it gives a copy error every time. What do you think I should do?
It's an issue from the core of your site. Make sure you are using update plugins and themes.

I have used spectra addons in block base themes but most of the widgets are not working perfectly. In all videos i see there spectra is working but not in my theme, such as bricksy theme

@@RiadMahmud Thanks for replying. Actually, I am struggling with Gutenberg. I have used kadence, spectra, generate blocks, genesis blocks but the plugin's container and row widgets is not working. I am setting two columns, or three columns within a container with 1140px width. In editor, all is looking good but when I am seeing my site, then it's showing all is broken. the container didn't get the width, and columns didn't get the alignments, and flex-basis/ width also. columns are showing like they are outside of the container. contact form is not working also and many widgets are not working.

DIVI is a complete solution and it's paid. Where spectra is good enough when you are using Gutenberg Block default Editor and it's free.

Just type slider inside block editor then you will be able to find it.
Kadence vs Spectra Which is better?
It depends on your requirements. If you want to use Kadence it has great container and row features that will help you to add padding margin using drag and drop from editor. On the other hand kadence has very few blocks and Spectra comes with a lot of blocks that will help you in many ways to build a fully functional website. And Spectra comes a lot of pre-made templates.

I checked Spectra blocks and there are super easy to create in Kadence Block.
I want to buy lifetime license and In kadence there are some pros:
-Child Theme Builder is awesome so you can sell site designs! You can create a site an can sell its demos to everyone. This is so cool
- In Kadence pro block, you can edit a page in different ways for mobile, pc or tablet independently. For example there is one structure (big box) that has 2 boxes. I can show this in vertically 1-2 numbered boxes in PC and i can change the seen numbered order for phone 2-1 etc!. This is not in any plugins out of Kadence Pro Block!
Astra has Convert Pro and Kadence has Form block so they are same i think!
Astra has Spectra Pro Kadence has kadence Pro block
Astra has schema Pro is a good plugin but you can add a schema manually to a topic by html (you can create a schema throug Schema Generators!

Thanks for your feedback! Based on Spectra free version if you compare the block with other page builder like Kadence or Stackable those are far behind! And yes they also provide great features but requires pro version which is not suitable for most of beginner. I do have some plan to publish videos about Kadence and Stackable in the future.
