The USA has declared economic war on Russia”
    No, Putin.

After watching most of these interviews, my personal opinion is that everyone in power was much too timid when they knew what was happening. They were worried about “push back.”

Thank God we got Elections designated as Critical Infrastructure. I support State's Rights, but this was the right thing to do. One more reason to read and support the Associated Press.

The bigger Q is why the American electoral system was so vulnerable!? Why are political party servers not better protected?! Where are the checks and balances?!

If you watch it out of context. I watched the doc when it came out but PBS has recently put out the extended interviews. It was a multiple episodes doc.

All of the interviewees in this series, and this man, Jeh Johnson is no exception, seem like very intelligent and credible people, i am WAY more impressed with them than ANY of the clowns and buffoons and crooked wannabees in the trump crowd, what a disaster that this Great Nation is being "run" by this bunch..........MUELLER for PRESIDENT...........................wb

Willard Brown -For such a battle hardened person and former attorney he seems very nervous. As an attorney I’m sure he would assume his performance delivers an appearance of questionable integrity. He may be lying or embellishing.

Because you live in a liberal bubble where you actually believe one side is "good" and the other is "evil". It's cute. You're like a 12 year old.

Why would Trump have ANY motivation to destroy the operations of the man who helped him win? That takes a person with integrity.

He's a bit disturbing to listen to, because he has a politician's willingness to repeat exact wording. It winds up sounding like he's repeating his story to convince himself. After all, it's pretty clear they f*cked up and underestimated the threat.

This director doesn't seem very impressive except with his collection of political or business catchphrases??? Especially compared with the other interviews which I've found to be much better. I understand, you need to self-censor as Director DHS, however he seems to just be the standard political hack?

Yeah, it was annoying at the point Mr. Johnson had said the states attacked were random, they could not find a pattern of key swing states or anything like that, then he is asked to answer that again. Around 20:00

I've really enjoyed this series, but this particular interview, at almost an hour in length, really didn't provide any answers at all - this isn't a critique, more of an observation. The same ground seems to be covered, and even when the questions get more specific, very similar answers are offered. Slightly disappointing.
Also, count how many times the phrase "Tip the scales or finger on the scales - is this man aware that the public is able to work with things like analogies ? For some reason it reminded me of the lead up to the 2003 Iraq invasion, with everyone (especially those lovable rascals on FOX) drilling the "smoking gun....mushroom cloud" line.

I was a little bit disappointed also. I felt like Sec. Johnson tended to repeat himself. Maybe those parts should have been edited out. I think part of the problem was comparing the Secretary with giants in the business like Brennan and Clapper. But I would say he accomplished his purpose though. Very tough period

Are you kidding? The threat of Russia has been a part of American folk memory for over 70 years. It’s been hammered home so frequently that people have become deaf to it. Half of American snubbed their nose at Russiagate, and the findings of the report -that Russia had, evidently, at least made attempts to interfere with the democratic process in the US - has been denied so vociferously that the same half can’t even acknowledge it.
