I didn’t know Yamaha guitars could sound that good! They’ve obviously improved over the years since I bought mine in the 80s, and of course his excellent playing helps. I’ve bought four Taylors since but none of them sound any better than this Yamaha.
The 80s is generations ago for Yamaha, and the FG9R and FG9M are the pinnacle of all of the R&D Yamaha has done However, and particularly in the States, Yamaha has quite the challenge to change stubborn, ignorant minds...(NOT saying this about you, but of the often conservative guitarist)
@@TavisAllen , thanks, I’m always willing to learn.
@@jamesgary2723 Refreshing to hear this!. For context, I grew up around Yamaha musical instruments (upright --> baby grand, tenor sax, guitars), have lived in Japan for ten years (access to different information, ppl hold Yamaha in higher regard), and now own two nice acoustics: AC6R, and FS5. A bit of a bias, admittedly, but I strive to be objective in all aspects of my life.
