Thanks for the simple how to video. Seems like everyone wants to be as complicated as they can. Much appreciated

Thank you so much! This seems simple and straight forward, so now I am ready to go get the supplies and tackle doing this myself. You did a great job explaining this.

Great pointers! Now, one of my own: you started out pouring the oil with the bottle upside-down, then sideways... pour with the spout up top, which allows air to escape. That’s why the spout isn’t in the middle, so it can be up top when you pour.

tip:::run the engine for about 3 minutes to get the oil hot, it will drain easier and faster. also take the dipstick out so air will work its gravity to drain.

Just so you know, an old bread pan works for getting between the mower deck and front tire to catch the oil on both the drain and filter side. There's a small enough amount that a small bread pan should catch it all.

Quick and easy way I use to drain the oil from the same mower is to set up an empty window wash bottle with a short wide funnel in it, directly below the drain plug. No fuss, no muss. Popping open the fill cap helps the drain speed. That is also how I remove the filter with minimal oil mess.
