@@francismulbah7037 which country are you residing in? It will depend on your passport. You can Google Barbados visas and it will let you know the details. For me with a U.K. passport I can visit on a tourist visa but I have to have to have a return ticket so they know you will return home. You will be asked to give details of where you will be staying on the island as well. I cannot apply for jobs but visit purely on a tourist basis. Everyone’s case is different.

The travel agent will give you advice. But before you buy any tickets you need to know why you are coming to Barbados… is it a vacation or for work. If work, then remember Barbados do not have jobs for non Barbadians unless it’s a job that has such specialist skills that their own people cannot supply. If it’s for a vacation then you will be ok with tourist visa as per the information in the link. Hope that helps.☀️🏝️

I have my citizenship by decent . My parents did the paperwork for me in my early 20s. I recently spent 6 amazing months in Barbados before I had to return to the States. I am eager to on come home for good. Working on making that happen.

Stay in the UK. Barbados now operates like a banana republic. I'm not kidding; I have lived here for over a decade and the country has declined. And if you ever get pulled into the Court system...even for what should be a simple divorce - watch out. If you have kids here, do you know the Court can make your kids wards orally; with no written authority! It is true. Take my advice, stay in the UK or pick another Caribbean country as Barbados is a nightmare. xo
Hi, Lovely to hear from you. You would need a working visa and be able to fill a post that nationals could not fill. So it’s not a route I would recommend as Barbados has skilled workers who are born there who can do most jobs. I recommend Barbados for people who can work remotely, and get paid by international companies. The Welcome Stamp Visa is a great way for those people. Hope that helps. 😊
Jae, why does an individual have to apply for an extension before 3 months run out if my passport is good for up to six months? It’s just when I looked it up (on Google) of course it doesn’t mention applying for that extension.
This was what I was advised to do by people living in Barbados. So I did it to be sure. It wasn’t too much of a hassle really. But you are right it doesn’t specify that in google.
