Koreans apparently didn't like season 2 that much. They think the "visual chemistry" wasn't that great between Kate and Anthony, whatever that means.
I also liked the first season more and because I knew the book beforehand, some things have been so confusing or felt incomplete...
But it was still interesting 😊

@@Sofie219 No... lmao Korea's movie industry is one of the boldest industries in the world when it comes to nudity and sexual\intimate scenes. And in the last few years, they are improving in the drama industry too.
They're just surprised because not that much popular shows are explicitly r-rated, not in only Korea but generally.
@@linacarominaI've been saying this forever. Korean movies are so raunchy, I remember how awkward it was watching it with my aunt and the sex scene was like 10 minutes. At some point, we both just started discussing it like "damn, they're really having sex everywhere!"

Bridgerton S1 was definitely a hit! The diverse characters, beautiful costumes, & story line are all magnificent. Season 2 was good as well. I’m looking forward to the Queen Charlotte spinoff coming in May!

I feel like the average British audience would be equally as confused by kdramas. We are so desensitised to mature content that I don’t think many brits would sit through a 16 episode slow burn where you might see one or two kisses.

I love them but I am the only person I know who does, other than the one Korean woman I know. So my point stands. How many male lead are like this in Korea dramas, Boys over from flowers, playful kiss, Goong, to name a few.
Rarely they are real Prince Charmings and say what they mean with words and actions, The King (Lee Min Ho), Run On (Si Wan) are one of the few lead like that.
As so many comments have said, PLEASE do a season 2 as well!

You should just watch the entire series. It’s a fun story of the Bridgerton family and period dramas are so dramatic in their pomp and circumstance. I read these books years ago and so happy to see them on the screen. I hope you watch and do another reaction video or a watch party. So many emotions happen, you’ll get whiplash.
