Did you know this spot was loaded with perch before fishing or was it your first attempt? I thought the scud would have been the best option since perch loooove shrimp.
So I had an idea that they were there, but I think their main source of food in this creek are minnows & small baitfish. My first thought was to try something that looks similar to a minnow and if it didn’t work to move on, but it seemed like I couldn’t miss that day lol I guess they were just really hungry 😂

I fish in Lake Erie and anything under 10” was thrown back
Everything caught was thrown back, no jumbos that trip
