Yes, the cost of batteries is ridiculous! I'm nursing a 7 year old in my 2001 F150, keeping the jumper box handy! That engine bay reminds me of my 49! 😂 The owner of that Riv will be pleased when he sees it! God bless!

I totally agree, you need to drive that thing around a bit & bring that engine back to life -- off camera, of course. Gotta make sure all is well & it's ready for the new owner. Looks nice with just the wash job. If you buff it up it'll be ready for the "Sunday go-to-meetin" crowd. Don't forget to attend to the tires.

Terrible place to put that battery! Reminds me of a VW Beetle. Otherwise it’s pretty cool! Good job waking it back up. That’s a problem with cars from that era is all the plastic components failing due to age.
For a broken fuel line, they let this waste away in the shed? Procrastinate much? Let's hope whoever ends up with this beauty takes better care of it.
You can get that batter for about $250. It will need replacing before the year is up.

That riviera is a nice car. Dont see many of them. My mother had a Plymouth Breeze and ya had to take the inner fender well off to get to the battery. Imbecile enginners
