    I am having much trouble geting the measure of the arms right. It is always too long, and ive been searching, but every teacher on youtube kinda assumes this is a thing you already know. So they cover shapes, anathomy, muscles, everything, but not proportions and measures. Could you address it in an isolated focus?

      Length of each part is based on the styling you want to apply. Simple observation of people will allow you to learn where things fall. Go out and draw people and take notes of where their bodies bend and twist. Notes and observations will be best for that. That’s why it’s not always taught. Cause it varies a lot unless you want the same body every time

      @@RODGONTHEARTIST thanks for answering! I understand. But isn't there any thechnique to figure for example where to split the components like the arm and the forearm? Like, I heard the arm usually bends on the relative spot where the ribcage ends when let loose on the sides of the body. These kinds of techniques are a great guide, just like the measures of the face are usually based of portions of the circle slplit in halves. But I got what you say about observation being the key
