Thank you so, so much for posting your videos here. I work late so I'm unable to watch your live streams on TikTok. Watching your videos and learning techniques from you and Wess have been so helpful. I had stopped practicing because I got impatient with myself, and I took some time to just go back and try it again this past week, and I can honestly say that I see improvement. Maybe now I can draw comic book characters without having to take 5 years or using a grid 😅. Sorry for rambling, but I just wanted to say thank you, thank you😊!

It's been a very hard year for me. But in my down time when I just want to get away from people I always find myself coming back to your videos. I grabbed whatever I can paper use my phone digital apps and I just start drawing. I got good observational skills, but drawing for my mind it doesn't work out all the time. Most of the time lol I want to say it's been a little over a year since I found your channel and just recently something click and it's getting a lot better to draw faces from my mind and I do a little practice with figure drawing. I know it's all about full, but I just want to say thank you man. Because of you I found out my issue was my foundations of understanding shapes. I always look but never understood. And because you made your videos and I never gave up it's actually clicking. Drawing was the only thing that I felt connect me to my late father. And I just want to thank you for help keeping that Bond strong

I've been trying for 7 years, in the last 3 or 4 months I tried starting pin-ups. I've gotten pretty good at all because of your videos. I'm not there yet but I am way better than I would have been

I think you might be the best art teacher on the planet, I hate to sound cliché but I learned more in just one of your videos than years! of art classes. I still suck, but it's so awesome to finely know where I'm going if that makes any sense

Your face drawing method is original. I've been doing an hour of CZcams art videos a day for 7 years and I haven't seen anyone else use this methed. The two methods that come closest to yours is the "mask" method or the "Reilly rhythm" method but your method is distinct from either of those methods.

Thanks for sharing your first sketch book with us Rod I see how far you've come. I got to open my anniversary present today, 10 days earlier lol but i couldnt wait, your Ark Blok book vol 2! 😊 every page is packed with awesome sketches and doodles and some nice illustrations but i have to stay away from the pin ups, my partner wont allow it lol, but she said she will get me the full set of your books, i can't wait for your animal book and how to draw book to come out! Im sure i will learn so much from them you inspire me so much keep up the amazing work Rod!
