- This week, I went to the DJ Awards in Ibiza. In this video, I chatted to Kerri Chandler ahead of the awards - which he won the house music award!
I asked him for the 5 things every producer needs to know. massive apologies for the audio in this video, its really loud in that room and I doubled mic'd but still seems its come up a little short. You can still hear what he's saying but the background noise is a little noisy.

Great interview Graham, was lucky to catch Kerri play the Sub Club at start of the year, one of the best nights I've been to in long time.
Oh amazing! how was that, i've seen him once and its such an experience
@@grahamefarmerdt It was unreal he played for 4 hours then did a 20 minute encore after the lights came on, pure scenes. Really interesting to hear his thoughts on the importance of continual learning and development. And thanks to your interview I now know he is some kind of top physicist, the Brian May of House.

This is a challenging video to hear/follow even with (CC) not being able to pick up word to word or even sentence to sentence for reasons you have stated at the beginning of this video. Hence, situations at venues like this video with a lot of background noises despite your best intentions to pop-up the mic/recording setup... It would be very helpful after the recording of event/interview at some point, if you, Grahame or someone on your behalf could take a moment of time to just write down in the info/description section of video: To recap, the Five Tips the producer such as Kerri have said for the interview and for this video. So that everyone can check/read for parts he/she was not able to hear/catch. This way the missing gaps of info being missed (not following/hearing right) on the video will be captured by reading the info/description section. Hope this tip helps... Thanks so so os much for this feedback, its amazing. I've making changes for better mic for this years event, as that room is awful. I agree a written version would be good.

Too much background noise but I guess you didn't have a choice but to catch kerri! Thank you🙂
Also you can try using a couple of plugins to reduce the noise and bring the vocals up and clear it out. Cheers!
