i have worn a pair of these for nearly 9 months and my feet are never sore, and i do anywhere between 30 and 40 thousand steps a day 👌 best shoes ive ever had
They are great! Are you wearing compression socks? If you are on your feet that much it would be a great idea! I have a review on the OS1ST Compression Bracing Socks on my channel. They keep my feet from being swollen when I come home.

@@vintagedoll4850 they are same sneakers. SR just have water proof leather uppers n slip resistant outsole. It is meant for work, they are work sneakers.

really these shoes are very good and you do not get tired of your feet despite so many hours that you work. I recommend it especially in adults
Hoka One One Bondi SR shoes are comfortable to wear, work activities within 10 hours, feet don't get tired easily
i wore these to the ground and they were perfect for 8 hour shifts for the first 6-8 months then i switched to 10 hour shifts and litterally died, im planning on getting the newer ones

After watching your video, I believe these would make great shoes for my job. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. I've heard Hoka's are also great for plantar fasciitis.
You are so welcome! Glad I can help. They do make good shoes for PF. They are stiff and let keeps your arch immobile as it heals up. I would also recommend looking at getting some Oofos for around the house. Rule number one for PF is don't go barefoot :)

I've been a runner for over 20 years. Though I don't run in them, I wear Hoka's all the time. I just came across your videos. The ones that I've seen so far are great and very informational! Thanks for the review! I'm planning on undertaking a job that requires me to be on my feet and outside for up to 10-12 hrs a day. I've got some Pumas but feel like this is going to be the better choice when it comes to standing/walking.
This shoe would be more protective. I would also recommend checking out some good insoles. I really love the Cadence Insoles. I think they are easy to break in and protect the structure of your foot. I have a review on here if you would like to check them out!
I bought these 2 days ago and been wearing them in the office in my main job which is largely desk bound, but I'm breaking them in for my side hustle job as a tv studio floor manager which has me on my feet walking, jogging, standing for 10-12 hours a day. I also wear a pair of the Hoka Kaha 2 Low GTX hiking shoes for when I work as an event floor manager on outdoor gigs. These Bondi SR shoes are exactly what I've needed for the indoor job, I wish they were around years ago. The toe box is super spacious which is going to be great for when the feet start to swell after standing and walking around for hours at a time. The cushioning is solid yet yielding, not as plush as the Kaha 2 which is softer to deal with uneven and rocky terrain, but is soft enough to be perfect for flat surfaces. One negative thing I've noticed in the last couple of days of wear though, they squeak like hell when I walk on shiny hard surfaces. All that noise is not going to be acceptable in a recording studio setting.
I am thinking about side hustle too. These will be great for restaurant or medical field.
They are a fantastic work shoe in general lol
I would love if Altra did this with their Torin line. I’m a Sheriff’s Deputy who needs an all black polishable toe shoe/boot. I have RA and love my Altras for training running. I think I’ll grab a pair of these and see if they work.
They have some boots called the Lone Peak 4 RSM. They have a cushiony midsole with the wider toe box. I have recently been wearing Altras and I like them. I really enjoyed the Torin Plush. They have a model called the Torin Delux coming out. It is suppose to be more cushioned, but I am assuming the price put will be high. I might consider getting a pair and doing a review on them. I am testing so many shoes out right now it is overwhelming. I have many shoe review videos I need to do.

The Bondi SR is an actual "work shoe." The Bondi 7 is made for running. People use it for work. Just be aware to replace your shoes around 400-450 miles. Height and weight play a factor. You could get both and rotate them. They'll last longer.

I have a pair of bondi 8 for daily indoor walk, slow jogging about 13-18 miles a day. 20k-40k steps per day.
I bought the bondi sr based on your review for a long trip for outdoor walk and daily run during the trip since I don’t want to bring 2 shoes to a compact packing trip. Would the sr be ok to do running for 2 months trip? And daily walk during the trip?
Have you tried running in the normal bondi? Some people love them and others find them to bulky. I’ve been curious but haven’t had a chance to try one on
Yes I have a pair. They are Hoka's most cushioned road shoe,. They do look bulky, but they are pretty lightweight. They are VERY comfortable.

No, I believe the heel drop is the same. I think they are both 4mm. The stack height should be similar.
you said something about these having an early stage meta rocker. I read that people with heel pain should look for shoes with late stage meta rockers. I am interested in these shoes for walking but I have heel pain from planta fasciitis. How's the arch support?

Well, the Bondi SR is the Bondi in Leather and it is slip resistant. It sounds like that is exactly what you're looking for. Please shop local if you can.
What is your thought between bondi7 and Bondi SR? Which is more suitable for nurses comfort wise. Mostly stand and walks, not much running.
The Bondi SR is marketed as a work shoe that is slip-resistant. The Bondi 7 is a road running shoe. If you are a nurse on your feet for 12 plus hours I would get both and rotate. Maybe get an insole to support your arch.
Remember to replace your shoes every 6-8 months, or 400 miles. Height and weight play into it.

What bondi model is this based on? The 6 or the 7? I think these look pretty decent, I can picture using these as a casual shoe VS the non leather models which look more for athletic use.
Also curious! From reviews it seems the 6? The 7 was not comfortable IMO. They're thick but have lost the plush feeling :[

Hi! I just got this shoe and when i tried it on, it felt like the side of the metatarsus areas were tight. The length is perfect, but i was not sure if i should exchange to wide or stay in regular. I cant tell how much difference there are between wide and regular and if the shoes become loose later on. I will be doing nursing clinical with those shoes.
Buy a cheap pair for clinicals and save your money. You get broke during school. Wait until your a nurse to buy these lmao
Do a half size up in these. They run a half size small in my opinion. I hope they worked out for you. I am glad you're taking care of your feet. We only get one pair.

You skipped an important part, the insole?? Is it removable? Is it nice and cushioned or cheap and not removable?

It depends on what kind of feel you're looking for. If you want something lightweight, cushioned and more stylish then the Cliftons would be good. If you don't care about looks and just want pure comfort and all the cushioning then the Bondi 7 is the way to go.
To me it seems strange that people choose to buy full leather non breathable shoes for hours of walking and standing indoors.
I got interested in them as my autumn to spring walking/running shoes. When it's cold, can be wet, muddy, even icy, but not bad enough to take out my heavy boots. And yet it's very hard to find info how the Bondi Sr fares in great outdoors

yes, they are hard to bend. also try the cadence exmp insoles. they completely take the pressure of the forefoot.

Do they make your feet look super big? I hear that in another review and it makes sense cause they do look like a lot of shoe. I already have size ten feet, I feel a little self conscious to wear ones that would make them look huge haha
I am 70 years old, and I am a big guy (6'4" tall and 225 pounds). For economic reasons, I recently had to come out of retirement, and got a job where I walk on a concrete floor (no carpet or mats) for anywhere from 8 to 10 hour shifts. Only had these shoes about a month, but so far they have saved my feet. My feet still hurt a bit at the end of a shift, but I can now keep the job. I don't like the "clog" look of these shoes (my size 13 EEs look like clown shoes), but they are probably the best shoes I have ever owned.
One complaint: I tried on numerous pairs of expensive shoes before I bought these, and they all had one thing in common: They all had insoles that looked like they cost the manufacturer less than 50¢. I had to purchase new insoles for the Hokas to get some that were worth a hoot.
Glad to hear you like the shoes! They will wear out. You are on your feet a lot. I would pay attention to that in a couple months. It isn't cheap, but it is a worth while sacrifice. Insoles/orthotics do not come with the shoes. Those are footbeds designed as a barrier. They keep your feet from standing on the midsole of the shoe. You made the right choice in getting a good pair of orthotics.
I am 60yrs old & work on concrete for over 25yrs. I work 6 to 8 hrs a day. I plan to purchase these shoe's so: do I need inserts OR not ~ possibly compression socks (My feet hate socks, knee-high hose are best for me)? I need some help bcuz I feel like I'm walking on bone!! The pain is awful.

I wore these shoes for work for the last four months and my plantar fasciitis is hurting my right foot, even when I wear my Currex insoles. I think it's too firm and heavy.
Just picked mine up and I have plantar fasciitis so I am hoping for better support. 👍🏻

Is the Bondi SR more like the Bondi 6 or Bondi 7? How would it be for walking my dog on snow or wet surfaces?
It might be okay. It is made for indoor areas that where the floor gets wet. I don't think it will do the same on snow or ice. I would recommend more a a Goretex Trail Shoe or Boot. Those would perform better outside.

I should make a video on how to size yourself for shoes. Try these on in your local area. Please buy locally. It depends where the shoes are made. In my personal opinion currently, I would size up a half size. Make sure you have a thumbs width of room, learn to tie your shoes properly, don't have your toes touching the end. Kick your heel to the back of the shoe, properly. There are videos on how to tie them correctly.
The Clifton's ran true to size in my opinion. If you have a high arch and medium with foot it may be too narrow if you size up or down.
If you're going to be on your feet all day not using compression socks then size up. Wear insoles so your arches don't collapse.
I guess I can't answer this honestly. Too many factors play into it that are so important. I have listed a local store that will do all these things. It is worth the trip. Customer service should be kept alive and it is an essential job.

Yes, a womens US shoe may be a 9 but in a men's it's like 7. I would look at s size conversion chart online or some brands have them on their website.
Yes, there is. Typically it is a whole size and a half up. For example, my US size is 7.5 and my UK size is a 6.

I am sure it would be okay. I would recommend trying running shoes for walking.
I prefer running shoes when I do 8 to 10 hrs shifts at work. They have better cushion and it reduces fatigue after my shift. I am trying the hoka bondi 7 after wearing asics nimbus and kayanos since 2014. I still bought another nimbus and the new dynablast to compare them all.

If you're able to shop local if you can. Pay attention to the shoes if they were super discounted when they come in. I hope you like them!

Leather upper. You are gonna sweat. Buy a few pairs to rotate it, that is how I deal with my sweat.

Which better Adidas ultraboost 20 vs hoka one clifton edge?
I have never tried an Adidas running shoe. Can't give you much feedback on that, but I did try the Clifton Edge. It was personally too stiff for me and too expensive. For that price point I would rather purchase the Bondi for $150 and get that super cushioned feel.
Ultraboost has slightly stiffer cushion and less stack height when I tried them on. I am used to asics nimbus and kayanos. The nimbus has more cushion feel than the ultraboost, but the most plush cushion is the bondi 7. You just need to get used to the metarocker for a day maybe.

I think they would be great. I would recommend the Clifton, Arahi and the Bondi. Yes, the footbeds come out :)
I just got these and for some reason they hurt my heels. Idk it's weird bc this has never happened with other shoes.
I would recommend trying to elevate your heel in the shoe to see if that helps. This shoe has a 4mm heel drop. That means it is only lifted that far from the forefoot. You can get a heel lift at your nearest drug store to see if that helps.
If your on your feet a lot and notice other symptoms. I would highly recommend watching my video on plantar fasciitis. Pay attention to that and seek medical help.
I am also a fan of good insole if your on your feet for many hours. I hope this helps.
@@kaybriellen Ok yeah this makes sense bc I just read that newbalance 990s have a 12mm heel drop & those are my normal shoes. So 4mm is a way different feeling. Thank you! I'll get my hands on some 8mm heel lifts and see if they feel better.

I have these i call them my Frankenstein shoes , I wear them with yoga pants as I am a dog groomer. I stand for and avg of 8-10 hours a day . My legs and feet feel good so far I've only worn them for 1 week so far and my legs are less fatigued than wearing my addidas ultra boosts

They are comfortable but the finish in the front peels off very easily
So Hoka offers the Bondi in a 2E and 4E but the widest Bondi SR is 2E. If there was ever a need for a 4E wouldn’t it be in the SR (Work) model ??? Better yet make both available in 4E, ugh! One more thing, let’s drop the pull tag on the heel that nobody uses. All it does is catch on the bottom of your pants.
I officiate high school basketball and the bondi Sr is not slip resistant on the court is it not for the hardwood?
It is designed for people who need to where slip-resistant shoes for work. They aren't made for basketball? More for medical, food service industry... etc. Where water, fluids are on the ground.

bruh ive worked at so many restaurants and tbh most all of us can afford it.. these are cheap compared to all my yeezys and jordans. For those of us 'in the biz.. we deserve better than shoes for crews and sketchers. The selection across the industry for slip resistant footwear is weak af
