You canât compare the rappers because they all have their unique flows and vibes! Agust D (Suga) is fast with the flow, RM is known for his INCREDIBLE Lyrics and his flow is crazy fast in his song >Joke< as well. Jhope has a very unique sounding rap voice, often rapping quite melodic and is known to visualise the world in his music. His songs have a very dreamy and âforeign worldâ kind of vibe! BTSâ rappers are very different but that makes them all good at the same time! To understand this, Iâd recommend the 2 rapperâs songs: Jhope Airplane and RM Joke.

All of them have amazing lyrics tho, that's why we can't say who is the better rapper. There was one post I saw on twitter about how Yoongi (Suga/Agust D) tells you you're a piece of shit, Namjoon (RM) will explain exactly why you're a piece of shit and Hoseok (j-hope/hobi) will dance on the sound of his enemies' sobs. I think it describes them all really well.
As for songs to check out besides their complete mixtapes (D-2, Agust D, Mono, RM, Hope World), the Cyphers (1-4), Ddaeng, Outro Tear, Outro Her and UGH are also very good suggestions. I also recommend their official solo songs included in BTS albums.
Yoongi has The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Nevermind, First Love, Seesaw and Shadow;
Namjoon has What am I to you, Reflection, Love and Persona;
Hoseok has Boy Meets Evil, MAMA, Just Dance and Ego as official BTS songs and 1 Verse on soundcloud;
Seokjin (Jin) has Awake, Epiphany, Moon (official) and Tonight (soundcloud);
Jimin (he has no stage name, he's using his real name) has Lie, Serendipity, Filter (official) and Promise (soundcloud);
Taehyung (V) has Stigma, Singularity, Inner Child (official), Scenery and Winter Bear (soundcloud), Sweet Night as OST for a k-drama;

All of them write and produce their own music, especially the ones posted on soundcloud. They need to respect some korean rules for their official paid music so their creative freedom is a bit more limited because they curse a lot (especially Yoongi, as you just saw) and they speak out about taboo topics.
They also have a bunch of collabs you might wanna check out, like Wale, Halsey, Max, Fall Out Boy, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Juice Wrld or The Chainsmokers. Honestly at this point just check out their entire discography lmao

He's a fan of eminem . He idolised him a lot. There was an interview where all the members need to chose "Eminem or Drake?" All the other rapline chose drake suga chose Eminem all the way đ
People have their own opinions of course, but many people have given him the title of âEminem of South Koreaâ because of his âTongue Technologyâąïžâ đ. Out of the rap line, suga (aka agust d) is more my style but rm and jhope are just as good. I guess the thing with suga is that heâs very raw and is known for speaking on taboo subjects particularly in South Korea (RM and JHope as well) which intrigues a large audience.

As you listen to their solo stuff, you realize that they all kinda have their own unique styles and donât really sound like each other. The âbest rapperâ is really just who you want it to be since they all shine in their own ways.

Funny you would say that because when I first saw BTS (MicDrop mv), it strongly reminded me of the first time I heard "Stan." It was playing over the speaker in a clothing store in Japan. Stopped dead in my tracks and said, "WHAT is this?!" Same reaction when I first encountered BTS.

When he says this KPOP category isnât big enough for me is him calling out the haters who said he sold out from being an underground rapper for the glamour of KPOP idols and his credibility as a rapper was gone. Suga is quiet, an introvert and he talks so slow but when he raps he is so fast and that is a mystery for me.

Every one of rapline has their own style: RM rapping with MIND (using alot methaphors,good lyristist coz he read a lot of book as references). SUGA rapping with SOUL (can change the flow,bluntly,raw,no filter especially when he's in in AGUST D mode). JHOPE rapping with HEART (flowing with melody and adlibs)

I think you totally need to see RM's Joke which is an absolutely vicious diss track at a specific rapper who had dissed him publicly. It will show you Suga is not the only one with mad skills. J Hope is also fantastic but a different type of rapper. If you watch Outro Tear Live at Wembley Stadium is will give you a good idea how all three rap in performance. It is amazing.

Honestly all the rappers are FIRE! & the Singers are FIRE TOO! Hard to choose but we all got our bias(fav) & our bias wreckers but in reality the majority of Army's are OT7's (basically, love em all, cuz it hella hard too choose. However, we dont gotta! AHhh! cuz they BTS!

There is no best rapper in BTS. All of the rappers have their own thing and express themselves differently and like doing certain rap styles.
RMâs lyrics are always so beautiful and make me have a new take on the world while making the rap sound do good. He can also talk his shit when he wants to. And itâs honestly the best.
J-Hope has a brighter style of rap then both RM and Suga aka Agust D. He has a way of making me feel so happy through his rapping and also likes to include some more vocally heavy rapping. He sounds very âhumanâ and brings such a nice touch to his rapping.
Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D usually has a more badass rap sound and talks his shit. But he also has nice and uplifting songs that are so beautiful. He has a way with words that make it sound like he is just venting to you, especially when he is rapping about personal matters. Yoongi has been through a lot and uses his experiences to help other people through his music. Not that the other members havenât been through a lot to, I mean RM and Yoongi were underground rappers, J-Hope was a Street dancer, Jin was an actor, Jungkook was a middle schooler, Taehyung was a âfarmerâ or a normal kid that didnât have a lot of money and Jimin was a contemporary dance student. They all had/have a very tough life and I respect them all for it. But Yoongi has a way with words that amazes me every time I hear him.
Their rap styles are very different and I love each and everyone of them like how RM does his mad rapping skills and then sings the Korean national anthem to the ARMY when heâs drunk. And how Hobi aka J-Hope brings so much happiness and skill in everything he does on and off camera. And how Yoongi is a bad bitch one second and then a little meow meow the next. They are all amazing and I love all of them so much. Also donât forget that the vocalists are hella amazing and are some of the most talented people on this earth. Anyways that was my little rant thanks for coming my TED Talk.

Many people have their favorite rapper in BTS, but I just can't with these 3 members. Each one of them brings their own unique talent to the game that it is hard.
RM - Analyzes the world (IQ148) his lyrical wordplay is top notch.
Suga/Agust D - Criticizes the world he tells you what he thinks & don't care if it makes you mad.
JHope - Envisions the world as a better place. He brings a brightness, vibrant color, charisma to the stage.
Put them together & they are incredible. You may have been told this already, but for so long "KPop/Idol" music in S.Korea has not been considered "real music". JHope was a street dancer & learned to rap from RM & Suga when he joined the group. RM & Suga were underground artists. When they joined BTS & became Idols, the underground scene turned their backs on them, said they "betrayed" rap & hip hop. The Idol Industry said they weren't talented enough, looked good enough and said they would never make it. They proved them ALL wrong and many of their songs punch back at both "worlds" and all those people that told them they wouldn't amount to anything. These guys literally went out on the streets and handed out flyers, asking people to come to their "free" concert to get people to try out their music. MAD RESPECT!

The sample he used in this song is actually 'It's a Man's Man's Man's World' by James Brown! The background lyrics are "man made the cars". The theme is of a self-made man who creates his own successes and wealth, perfect for Agust D talking his talk. But the original song says man, with all his creations, is still "lost in bitterness" and touches on the idea that wealth begets conflicts (and in the end man ain't shit without women in the world). Agust D grapples with the inner conflicts his success brings him in dark, honest ways. Really excellent sampling choice from Yoongi and if you study his music you'll notice he's super thoughtful about contextualizing his music like this.

The three rappers of BTS have three different 'styles' in my opinion:
Yoongi/Suga/Agust D: Hard hitting, fast raps, flow switches, inspired by western artists like Em, has depression and social anxiety and talks about it. (The Last by him is my favorite song)
J-Hope/Hoseok/Hobi: Almost a jazz-beat rap, he adds funk and soul and groove to his art. He's not the best lyricist but he makes you 'vibe', you know?
Namjoon/RM: Has something to SAY. He tells stories. He can make a rap slow or fast and take you on a journey. (Moonchild for example)
Then there's Jungkook who was a rapper here and there for certain BTS tracks, he's good at everything including rapping, he picks up beats well but if you want to hear him rap look at earlier BTS tracks.
