For me I look for heaviness in all forms of music going beyond metal. I'm an eclectic type person that has managed to encapsulate a few things that I think you might want to checkout. I'll give you only songs instead of albums to keep me from typing so much. Beginning with John Coltrane's song (OLE) The Bad Plus song (Lost Of Love) The Body Count song (Enter The Dark side) Leon Thomas song (Sun Song) Red House Painters song (Make Like Paper) Onyx song (Better Off Dead) Rollins Band song (Down & Away) The Body Count song (Back To Rehab) Onyx song (Most DEF) & probably the one I would recommend the most for checking out The Bad Plus song (In Stitches). Let's not forget Jazz was the first Heavy Metal. I want to hear what you think of this list after listening to them & I would also recommend the albums these songs are on. This is a sophisticated list so please comment me back on your thoughts. Also for the John Coltrane's OLE it's a 15 minute monster with a surprise ending so don't get thrown off by the seemingly redundancy of the song. All these songs also sound stellar on headphones. Enjoy!!!!!!!
It's got to be Electric Wizard's Dopethrone
very interesting choices guys. Kind of surprised neither of you picked some death metal albums. Cult of Luna I have not heard anything by before.
Yo Stan! We did pick some but ended up just going with 3 each... Thanks for watching man.
Davidian is heavy AF. I remember seeing that video back in the day and that was my first impression, heavy as hell!
Burn 👏 My 👏 Eyes 👏
Yes Nails! I'm curious what y'all think about the band Amebix Arise! Album.
Innovative band and cool album, the sound/production is still fresh in 2021. And they must have watched 2001: A Space Odyssey a few times..
@@MetalbyteMedia do y'all listen to any d-beat crust bands like Discharge and Doom?
Every time that dude says "TUNES" I crack up
my picks for heaviest albums are both pretty recent. Chelsea Wolfe-Hiss Spun or Sumac-The Deal.
What's heavier? A kilogram of metal or a kilogram of feathers?
It's the same.
I think tone has a lot to play. That and chord progression.
Crowbar is heavy as fuck 😁😁
KAOS did a cover of machine heads Davidian
OMG... KAOS/SOS, Chatham NB, Tracey? I just clued in who you are. Great hearing from you hope you're doing good!
@@MetalbyteMedia keep releasing CZcams videos, including the cooking show, I’m waiting for a new recipe 💀-SP ( slaughtered princess)
