Whiskey Wanders Los Angeles Liquor Store: Red Spot 15 Irish Whisky & SpringBank 30 Rare Scotch!
Today we are perusing our local liquor store and we find some Unicorn level whiskies like the Spring bank 30 , as well as the Red Spot , Blue Spot, Gold Spot Irish Whiskies. Of course the Spring Bank 30 was too good to pass up so we bought it for a unicorn price!

I picked up the red spot last month at TW in the Bay Area for $199. A couple weeks later it shot up to $299. Blue spot was $145, now also $299. Both are fantastic whiskies, but not at that price. I’d rather pick red breast 12 CS at $99 if price is a factor.

Your wife would likely fancy the Glenfarclas line of scotch. The 25 year is very tasty and is a steal at $250 or less. The 40 year is superb and unlike most ancient scotches, usually around $1K. You usually mention the name of the store you are visiting in the video (at least the costco locations) but not in this one. Any hints if you don't want to outright name it?
