    I've installed both the miltek and the awe exhaust for customers in their vehicles. Miltek is definitely louder and does tend to drone on the expressway, the awe is definitely my go too for these 4.0 twin turbos. Also if you go cat back it doesn't effect the warranty to much. As long as you don't tune it you are okay on the warranty.

    • @immiked4702
      @immiked4702 Před 6 lety

      Seth Kline well if somebody decides they want to tune it you'll be OK with the warranty as long as you get the mobile dongle and you can set it back to stock with a Phone app that's what I've done and every time I have gone to the dealer I would put it back to stock and they never said a word I even had warranty work done on the engine. Far as I know or been told there's no way to tell once it's reversed that it has it as long as you of course don't forget to remove the dongle OBD port

    Get the AWE exhaust. I recently got the track edition, and it's fantastic. One side note, you *will* hear when the engine switches from 8 cyl-mode to 4 cyl-mode and back. It sounds like a throttle surge, though that may be due to the soundaktor. I've been away from the car for a month so I haven't tried disabling the soundaktor yet (pulling the fuse is the best option). Here's my clip of the first cold start after I installed the exhaust. I'll get more exhaust clips with revs and flybys when I get back home in a week or so.

      Planet 9 I owned the v10 s8 and it was one of the worst cars I've ever owned. From reliability, to maintenance cost, to gas consumption, to performance was all disappointing. My s8 stayed in the shop and I feel that Audi did a bad job at that generation of s8's, I thought it would of been faster and off the line it did this weird double jerk take off, it was rarely a smooth take off, the tip in was horrible. It was only cool to drive in sports mode and driving with the shifters was kinda fun but irritating after a while. I can't even start to tell you everything I had to repair and replace on that car. The only good part about driving it was taking it on long road trips, its a great highway cruiser and the exhaust note sounded good also, other than that I was very disappointed after a year or more of ownership.

    Do you actually drive the cars you review, or do you only do ride alongs? By not being the driver, you immediately eliminate the reason for having a channel that reviews cars. Driving a car is the ONLY thing that qualifies someone to review a car. I'm confused.
