You don't need any course, these skills can be developed with practice. E.g. I started making my thunbnails on Canva, then I started experimenting with its different tools, then I learned more about them by watching more YT videos. It took 5-6 months to get better, but it happened by practice. So whichever skill you're trying to learn, use YT & put what you learn into practice.

Mam I had a doubt regarding my preparation, I just have started my preparation from 1st March after doing 3 month of job in sales. I have joined unacadamy and doing number system in quants and arithmetic from previous videos, seating arrangement in DILR from previous videos and VARC in the classes. I am doing all three subjects together as you have mentioned to start all 3 from March till July. I come from an average college, with average academic grades and also an IT work experience. All this has culminated into a thought that even if I crack a good B-school, would I be able to seek a great marketing career leaving my past behind. Since you come from the very field itself, and also have seen people with different and varying backgrounds moving forward to a good marketing career despite these limitations. Could you please explain how does it work, or to say, would I be able to crack a good career at marketing with my credentials as mentioned? Thank you so much, truly grateful 🙌 There's honestly nothing to worry about because marketing firms are the most inclusive - they don't care about your past credentials as much as other fields. But, they do prefer candidates with better extra-curricular achievements or holistic profiles (i.e. a little bit of everything). Having said that, ops-heavy profiles have also made it to marketing. It's not that difficult tbh. Just try adding some relevant courses/points to your profile to get their attention.

Hi Shweta I just wanted to enquire one thing I have done my bachelor’s and masters in biology and did a 3 month internship in bio on After which I took a one year break due to marriage and in that one year I decided to change my career stream to HR I joined Accenture as a HR assistant and worked there for 8 months and after that was about to join another company as HR Executive but my father got diagnosed with blood cancer in Mar 2022 and since then I have not joined anywhere and couldn’t do any courses due to his treatment I will still be taking care of him for about 8months from now After this I was planning to do MBA I wanted to ask with this profile even if I clear CAT, is IIM possible?

I'm confused ma'am, in which academic category do BSc students fall (as in BSc in Zoology, Microbiology, Data Science etc.) and do they lose out the benefits of being in the academically diverse category ?

You have ample time, so for now, build a strong profile, score well in college exams, and if at all you wish to prepare for CAT, pick the weakest section and start with its basics.

Ma'am, the website of IIM A mentions BSc students in the same academic category (A-4) as that of Engineers but, there are many CZcamsrs and people on Quora who say that BSc students are categorized in the academic diversity pool. I'm confused ma'am, in which academic category do BSc students fall (as in BSc in Zoology, Microbiology, Data Science etc.) and do they lose out the benefits of being in the academically diverse category ?

I believe it will depend on your inclination. If you're into managing people pr supervising them, even if for a DS project or in a DS firm, that's possible with MBA. But if you like the core field, then go for online courses.
