that was so helpful for me. i also thought if i ask for something in return of good deeds i won't get rewarded for it in akhirah. Alhamdulillah the misconception is corrected.

Salamalaykum. Following up from my situation I shared in a comment on episode 15 (short version) should I give up on my dua if the woman I wanted to marry rejected me, but I’ve been making constant dua for her for a year every time in sujood? Is this a test of my sabr from Allah, or is it a sign that I need to stop making dua and move on? Jazakallah khair

@safinasociety please answer this question I think it’s very useful to know the answer to what to do in these types of situations and what role dua has in these circumstances

@@H_F2023No not at all. I’ve been very persistent in making dua to marry her, and my heart is telling me not to give up. I’ve never made dua for any women before, and I feel like Allah SWT is guiding me to make dua for her. But the woman in question seemed like she gave up on wanting to marry me (out of frustration or something)

@@awaisjamil9956I’ve made istikhara 11 times for her. Each time I felt it in my heart to keep going for her. But I haven’t prayed istikhara as to whether I should keep making dua for her because I wasn’t sure if I’d be biased to lean towards striving towards making dua for her since I’m certain. I just don’t know if I’m foolish in continuing to make dua for this specific woman
