If IGN are giving a Call of Duty a 4/10 then you KNOW it is bad
the campaign doesn't introduce you to a whole and immersive story but instead introduces you to what you're going to expect in warzone
Never before has a Call of Duty campaign be called ''the worst'' by the first sentence of a review, never in the last 20 years. BO3 was regarded ''too complicated''. IW was called a bad game but still with an excellent story. Ghosts was called ''acceptable'' and the story is still praised by quite some players. But as soon as you hear ''the worst campaign'' you know this year's COD's done for.

IGN going from giving Vanguard a 7 to MW3 a 4. A unexpected shift
If they made the “open combat missions” co-op it would’ve been worth while, especially if your teammates had to play as the other 141 members
2/3 of the assets are from MW2019, 4 hour campaign, and still they charge $70.
Modern warfare 3 really makes you feel like your money has gone to waste

Thank you for an honest review. Maybe Activision will give their heads a shake now. I've played every single CoD campaign and this was definitely the worst. The MP is just reskinned old maps too, no one has original ideas anymore.
