- Our cavapoo dog Olive met Baby Ian when she was 2 years old. Adjusting to the new normal with a newborn was definitely not easy. But it's undeniable the love for her human baby brother happened at first sight. In this video we share signs our cavoodle dog Olive loves her baby brother(laying next to him, playing with him, bringing the baby her dog toys, and reacting to the baby's cries). Proving that even the most spoiled pet can learn to love her new sibling.

Baby Ian is growing like a weed. He is so precious! I'm flashing back 25 yrs when I had my son. My 3yo Labrador guarded him and played gently with him and they became best buds. My dog slept under his crib at night. We didn't teach him that but he loved my son. When my son started talking his first word was Hi and his second was Elvis, our dog's name. Elvis lived 16 years and my son was devoted to him. Holding him in his old age and guarding him and sleeping on the floor beside him at the end. Our dog brought a lot of joy to our home. I hope Olive lives a long life and Ian has a beautiful childhood with her by his side.

This interaction is so totally precious. For some reason, this one made me cry because I miss my Mia, who was mostly cocker spaniel, so much. She died in March and I still can barely go on without her. She was my best friend and my joy.
My heart goes to you brother. Yes. No words can describe your pain of separation from your beloved Mia. I pray that you will receive peace, comfort and rest from Lord Jesus in the deepest core of your heart and you shall be well again in His timing!
And brother, can I comfort you by sharing with you that there is a hope in Lord Jesus. Your beloved Mia will be redeemed by Lord and she will live forever in the New Jerusalem. For Lord so loves His Creations! Hallelujah. Amen.
I m clinging on to this promise by Lord and I m waiting patiently to reunite with my Princess Tumbles and my Princess Muffin many many years to come in the New Jerusalem. My 2 Precious Princesses passed on in January 2 and June 7, 5 months and 5 days apart from one another. They were so loving and so closed to each other ! 😢😢😢My trust is in Lord and I rest in Him and His promises! He who has promised with His living words will never fail and He has never failed me! Praise Jesus.

I am a person of faith and I have always held to the promises that Jesus told us about our Father. Honestly, my faith has been shaken of late because of several prayers that have just not been answered. Jesus told us that with God all things are possible, so why didn't He answer me? It's a tough question and almost all persons of faith have to look at at least once in their lives and often several times. I ask God daily to restore my faith in Him and my complete love for Him. I was raised as a Southern Baptist boy and really believed all that I was taught. I am no longer a Southern Baptist, but faith if a necessity for anyone who wants to live close to the Lord. I am in a moment of confusion and disappointment and even anger. I pray that God helps me over this hurdle of faith and back into his everlasting arms with time.

It is really very discouraging and disappointing when you found out that the church, the teaching, the pastor and leader whom you have trusted and believed in all your life are actually not His true sheep!!!
But I want to congratulate you brother Ramsey! When you are going through a personal persecution, Lord has chosen you to be trained and to be taught by Him and Him only! Praise Jesus. For you are precious in His eyes and He can’t bear to see you damage. He has put this burden in your heart to lead you to His truth that otherwise, you will not know and see! He will reveal to you what He wants to teach you and what He wants you to know and believe! Lord is really that Good and Merciful! Brother Ramsey, you just need to keep your eyes on Him , and keep talking to Lord about everything in your heart and your mind! He knows you best and He knows you intimately, and He always has your best interest at heart ! Praise Jesus.
In His timing, He will answer you brother Ramsey. Lord can hear you brother, He has heard you and He will hear you! Praise Jesus for He is faithful and true and He is The One True Living God! There is no other God only Christ Jesus , our Lord , The God in The Bible! The God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Moses and David!!! Hallelujah.
The same thing happened to me in March 2020. That’s why I know how hurt you are in your heart. My heart goes to you and I pray that Lord will comfort you and give you rest and peace. I can fully and truly understand how you feel brother. Lord knows You and Your heart deeply and closely! He drew you with His loving kindness and He made you beautifully in your mother’s womb. No one has seen you brother Ramsey so intimately, only Lord has ! Lord has seen you and He has searched you and tested your heart and He knows you want Him and Him only. You may not see it or feel it but you can choose to trust God , accept His wisdom in this trial that you are going through. If Lord allows you to go through this trial, He will also with it give you sufficient grace to see you through it. He is working all things out for your greatest good, for The Gospel good and for the common good. He will turn all your troubles and all your sufferings into testimonies for His Glory. Fear not, His hands are on you brother Ramsey at all times because He has never left you nor forsaken you. Praise God.
When I left my ex church in March 2020 upon Lord’s instruction, I was lost, anxious and sorrowful as that was my first and only church of 6 years! But Lord has never left me, brother. I clung on to Him for dear life as I didn’t know where to go, what to do, why He asked me to go, and how to move on! In April 2020, Lord started to direct my steps and He revealed to me step by step what kind of church is my ex church and why He put me there and what lessons He wants me to learn. Brother, if not for Lord, I would have been damaged and wrongly understood and followed The Bible thinking that what has been taught to me was true! Praise Jesus.
As His true sheep, we are called to follow Lord and Lord only and The Gospel, and nothing else and no one else! Praise The Lord.
This is the longest I have ever written and thank you fir reading. I want to encourage you brother Ramsey as I have been through what you are going through now. May Lord keep you faithful and fearless and use you mightily for His Kingdom! Hallelujah. Amen.

Dogs like Olive are really excellent baby sitters. With assistance of course. I’ve had about 5 dogs that were similar to Olive and they all loved babies. From guarding the crib to entertaining, they are great. I notice they are much, much happier and have less anxiety when they have a “job.” You guys have close to a perfect situation. If there is such a thing as perfection with a family. Congratulations on both your gorgeous babies.

Totally agree with you on the when they have a ‘job’!! I’ve noticed olive looks more happy/excited when there’s a ‘purpose’ for her in given situations. She’s such a go getter🥲🥰😌
Olive is adorable(we have a cockapoo and their love never gets old) but your baby boy is beyond adorable. The 2 of them together make my day. Good job mom and dad, on both counts. 😊
