- Happy April! Is this an April Fools?! A vlog on a Monday? Nope, it’s an extra vlog for you since there’s no LIVE tonight (we’ll be sailing towards northern Spain on P&O Aurora). So, to kick off my new series, we have just spent 2 nights at the Leonardo Royal Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton (the one with the massive glass pyramid 😂). We stayed in a junior suite with 2 balconies (greedy!) overlooking part of the city and the Solent, with direct views of Ocean Terminal and both P&O Iona and Arvia. So, come along with me as I tour the hotel, its facilities, our suite and give you the low down on the location, facilities and whether it’s good value or not!

Booked 2 nights pre cruise in July based on your videos. Got a good rate during a sale they had. 292 GBP for both nights, including breakfast. Standard king, not a suite. But since its summer and other ships are in port, I thought that was a good deal.

Hi Jamie, This is a beautiful hotel, I am back here in September and December 24 due to sailing on Iona. The Staff always look after me and make me welcome. I enjoy travelling the day before the Cruise and just relaxing in the hotel. The breakfast is lovely, hope you enjoy your Cruise over Easter. The walk does not take long to the Cruise Terminal.

Nice room with great views. Bathroom unexciting I'd expect a bath and standalone 3 person capacity shower. At their price levels I feel breakfast should be included. Odd that mini bar wasn't stocked they're missing a sales opportunity there.

We stayed in the Chilton Suite a couple of weeks ago (we came off Iona on the Saturday you checked in). We had a wonderful stay and was surprised to receive a bottle of fizz on arrival, we felt very special. Our one night, inc. breakfast was £157. Bargain! Have fun on your cruise 🚢 😊

Im considering a stay at the Holiday Inn but considering Leonardo too.
Both are good but I prefer Leonardo for facilities

The hotel looks great with plenty to do. I think the only negative which it would have for me is the shower curtain, otherwise looks really good xx

We traveled down on the Friday to embark on Iona on the Saturday from Manchester. Would use this hotel next time booked well in advance room cost £135 for 3 with breakfast took the strain out of travelling down to cruise. Great staff also.
