- It’s time for the concluding part of 1 Week in Salou & Portaventura, Spain! Make sure you’ve watched part 1 first! In this episode we pick up in El Caribe Hotel, Portaventura, try out the on site buffet, hit the pool, spend the afternoon at Portaventura theme park and the evening at Ferrari Land on Europe’s tallest and fastest coaster plus cocktails back at our hotel! The next day it’s time to head back to H10 Vintage hotel Salou followed by a wiiiiild speedboat ride to La Piñeda. We check out some of the entertainment at our H10 Vintage hotel in the evening. It Anthem total chill time before flying back to London with Tui.

I’ve been going to salou since 2002. First went with my family and have been back with partner and friends. Love it so much! Love Port Aventura and also Chaplins and House of Illusion

Great vlog as always! We went to Salou two years ago but didn’t gel with it. Maybe a bit too British, I don’t know. The pool rules became annoying, no sunglasses, no floating on your back, no inflatables, no splashing, basically no having fun 😂 We loved Portaventura though, and Tarragona and would actually like to stay in Cambrils, it’s lovely there.

How does it compare to IOA?
I don’t think you can compare this theme park with IOA although a couple excellent coasters
Loving this vlog, I’m thinking of booking. I did Spanish A level and don’t think I’ve heard of seta being the word for mushroom, is there more than one word for mushroom, or is it a type of mushroom? Xx
Seta is a generic word - champiñon is little button mushroom

The Ferrari ride is a bit like stealth at Thorpe park? Would rather give birth than go on that again 😂😂
This one is nearly twice the height and about 30mph faster plus just a lap bar, no harness

Oh man, all I could think of when that Ferrari coaster was on its way down was, this is what it feels like to be in a plane crash. Did anyone else have that thought?

How annoying about the children situation in the restaurant.
I wonder why they have the no sunglasses in the pool rule?
Considered dangerous I think
If they were to break and shards of either plastic or glass end up in pool it would probs end in someone's leg or foot, worse case would be broken shard going in the wearers eye, my kids have been stopped wearing goggles or masks for this reason.
